Are they both going different ways? Or has Saban copied every single power ranger series? Just curious.

If you are curious, the newest one will be Powers Rangers Mystic Force. Whats next, Power Ranger X-Babies? Sheesh, bring back Tommy & Jason. That or bring some asian chick and make her Trini Kwan's ancestor or something.

I'm not sure what you mean.

Saban doesn't own the show anymore, Disney aquired the rights about five yearts ago.

And it's not like they're going back stealing every idea they can find.

It's a pretty simple equation -- this year's Sentai = next year's Power Rangers.

I mean, the logistics and storyline basically come from the Japanese show. Okay the storylines are changed and adapted (I know that DT was nothing like it's Japanese counterpart AbaRanger), but in terms of look, theme, style -- that all falls on the Japanese creative team.

I do wonder how far they can go, I mean there are only so many ideas and situations you can put a five-spandex-clad-superhero-team through, but heck, as long as they keep putting it out, I'll keep watching.

I'm waiting for Disney to release Mighty Morphin Power Rangers on a DVD boxset. I would buy it.

The last one SPD is probably the worse , rip off everything from the japanese sentai scene for scene , story for story. At least Dino Thunder has its own storyline and is nothing like Abarangers.
