There seem to be a couple screw-ups in Marvel's Preview books. A couple months ago, DD: Father #5 was listed as the conclusion, and in the latest book, the Sentry is listed as a six issue mini.
On the covers of the books, DD: Father is a six-issue mini, and the Sentry is and 8-issue mini.
What's going on, anyone?

The deal is very simple the sales were rubbish and they got cut short.
Sentry was posted as on going at the beginning, then eight, now six.

Where was Sentry said to be an ongoing? I'm fairly sure it was always an 8 issue mini.

The sales for Sentry were quite healthy. Issue 1 was the #17 book. And it was never an ongoing.

It's definitely not sales. I think it's just some mistakes in the Previews book. It doesn't seem like they take a whole lot of time on the things, with occasional spelling errors and whatnot.
And Marvel wants Paul Jenkins to do a Sentry ongoing at the end of his mini. I know this because he told me so. If the mini was actually shortened, I now realize, it was probably so he could get started on the ongoing.

DD didn't get cut short, it was lengthened. And Sentry is going to be an on-going. Your post makes no sense.

Originally, the comics news sites mistankingly claimed that The Sentry was going to be an ongoing when it in fact was only going to be 8 issues (I was there when Marvel originally announced it).
So if it is now shortened to six and an ongoing will be launched afterwards, that's news to me.
