Tim Story and Mark Frost have been hired back to handle the directorial and scripting duties, respectively, on the Fantastic Four sequel.

Burt Bacharach will guest as himself on a late January episode of the John Stamos sitcom Jake In Progress.

Jay Harrington (The Inside) will join Desperate Housewives in 2006 as a new love interest for Susan (Teri Hatcher). His character will be named Dr. Ron.

Stephanie March will reprise her Law and Order role of Alexandra Cabot on the new Dick Wolf legal drama about young lawyers called Conviction. This show will break from the Law and Order set up by focusing a good deal of the characters personal life. Cabot will be the bureau chief. The WB series Beauty and the Geek will begin it's 8 week second season on Thursday January 12th at 9pm. It's taking over for Everwood, which will return with new episodes in March.

Comedy Central has renewed The Showbiz Show with David Spade for a 13 episode second season that will begin airing March 23rd.

ABC has bumped up the premiere of the midseason legal drama In Justice to January 1st.

Weeds has been renewed for a 12 episode second season by Showtime. It will begin airing in the summer of 2006.

Leslie Bibb has been bumped up to series regular on Crossing Jordan. She plays police shrink Detective Lu Simmons.

And for those who were left hanging and DO care, Sci-Fi has picked up ABC's Nightstalker and will air all the epsiodes, including the remaining unaired episodes next summer.

A&E has renewed Dog The Bounty Hunter for 26 more episodes. They also gave a 20 episode order to Inked, and 18 more episodes for Chris Angel Mindfreak. Cancelled shows are Airline and Growing Up Gotti.

The Jennifer Garner film 13 Going on 30 will get a new DVD release on February 7th, 2006. The "Fun and Frothy Edition" will contain an alternate beginning and ending, a 1980's teen fashion flashback extra and bubble gum scented packaging.
