I would like to see a mini series showing with how Batmas deals being bruce wayne.

We see bats in costume 9.9 times out of 10, but there has to be a way that he operates in secret identity as bruce, to run wayne enterprises, to maintain the high level of playboy status that is professed to have.

Have it written in full knowledge he is Batman, show him as bats, but also show the logistics of running his secret identity, show a reason as to why not give it up completly?

Personally I think this is idea would work for any hero, clark espcially, but with bruce he has such a driving passion behind him, it would be interesting to see what makes bruce be able to be Batman .

I agree. We've all been saying for the longest time that BW needs to come out more. It seems as though Superman is spending more time disguised as CK, just like BW is spending more time disguised as Batman. It needs to change for both of them.

I would love a Bruce Wayne mini series. A Clark Kent mini series may not be a good idea as we see Clark Kent here and there. But Bruce Wayne has been completely sidelined for a long time. Then again i pay money to read about a guy in a Batsuit kick the crap out of meta villains. But a Bruce Wayne mini series is actually a good idea and yes i would buy it. Maybe something called Bruce Wayne : The man behind the mask (or) Bruce Wayne : The mask behind the man. Whichever.

It would also be fun to watch how Bruce Wayne interacts with other heroes. Lets say there is a charity event and Bruce Wayne is invited. And then the guests of honour happens to be a few members of the JSA or JLA. It would be fun to watch how Bruce talks to them. Those who know Batmans identity would be surprised how different Batman and Bruce Wayne are.

Although BW has been sidelined a lot in the mainstream batbooks, some of the new "year one" books seem to be showing more about him. In "Journey into the Knight" we see the psychological effect the murder of his parents still has on him, and we see more about BW in general. In "Monster Men" we see BW with a girlfriend thinking about what his parents would say etc. We even have a new TAS that shows a good mix between the two.

My only complaint is that this is all at a time when Bats was young and still optamistic. I want to see the cynical Bruce but without the cape. Although we have a large number of BW appearences in his early days, I'd like to see him now as BW in the mainstream books.

Greg Rucka, during his 'Tec run did a lot of Bruce out of costume. It gave great insight into the character. He wrote him a lot like Pierce Brosnan in 'Thomas Crown'. A somewhat serious loner but certainly not a nut.

I would love to see that. Let's hope the DC bigshots read this forum. :)

Sounds like it might get boring pretty fast. Without both sides to the character it can get flat easily. How about a series chronocaling his training?
