Why you ask?
BECAUSE IT'S ONE DAMN FINE COMIC BOOK! :)

In the first story we have the Fantastic Four dealing with the Moloids who are kidnapping Santa Clause actors.

In the second story the Avengers are having a party at Dr. Strange's place.
Fun and action guaranted!

And last but not least in the third story Mike Carey and Mike Perkins are bringing back the obscure villain Hurricane (http://www.marvunapp.com/Appendix/hurrcan3.htm) - a story told in rhymes and with gorgeous artwork!

If you are a Fantastic Four fan - this is a book for you!
If you are a New Avengers fan - this is a book for you!
If you are a Classic Avengers fan - this is a book for you!
If you are a Spider-Man fan - this is a book for you!
If you are a She-Hulk fan - this is a book for you!
If you are a Spider-Woman fan - this is a book for you!
If you are a Gravity Fan - this is a book for you!
If you like lighthearted stories full of fun and action - this DEFINITELY is a book for you!

So - go out and buy it! :D
It's my "book of the week"!

I don't like the two Fantastic Four stories. I thought they were lame. The Avengers story was great. Santron (Ultron in a Santa suit) was worth the cover price.

I tried to pick this issue up, but my local shop didn't order enough of them.

I'll be sure to scoop one up, should there be any to grab next week.

Santron....heheh....

There should be a "Punisher kills Santa" story in this :D .

There's a Punisher special where he dress up as Santa to kill a mobster under witness protection. I think it ships sometime this month. Maybe he'll kill a few santas in it.

And there was The Punisher: Red Xmas one shot too. Not sure when that was. But it was a cool story.

Did this already come out? I'm not getting it. I think the preview in NA #13 said enough.

"MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL...EXCEPT THE AVENGERS. THE AVENGERS MUST DIE!"

Yeah...That's really good writing...

Huh? Read the WHOLE story and all makes sense.

I was disappointed that there was no 'mutant' story here. Even though the solicit mentions one. :p

Actually, it was a very, very funny line in context.

That was the best tale in an outstanding book.

Gravity gets no respect.

Great comic! I'm glad I picked it up. This and Amazing Fantasy #15. Two great anthology books in one week.

Great book. Ben Grimm talking a certain someone into a Santa suit. Mobile mistletoe. Heh.

The Hurricane story brung a tear to me eye <sniffle>.

Gravity gets no respect.

If Luke didn't tell Wolverine that Gravity was cool we would I seen Enemy of the State all over again.

How about $3.99 for 48 pages and no ads at all? It's an ad free book (aside from the inside and back covers anyway).

Tre's Take:

The first FF story was kinda lame, the last FF story was okay, sorta touching, but felt like it was trying to hard. (They should've done a Runaways Christmas story....or a New Avengers one)

Now the meat of the issue was GREAT. It was funny, and heartwarming all at the same time.

Things I liked about the Avenger's Christmas party:

All parts involving Gravity...no respect for the rookie, but he held his own against.....

SANTRON ...wild. His creator, Vergie...again coool, cool way to use a real-life classic story.

And I never knew the male Avengers were such chauvanists. That's okay, Jessica WILL get her revenge somehow. LOL.....

I loved how the first Fantastic Four story ended as well as who Thing got to play Santa.
