He said that in this series Moon Knight makes Daredevil look like Hello Kitty. He said that nobody in the Marvel Universe will want to [expletive] with Moon Knight.

Has Moon Knight always been that violent, or is this something new they are adding to the character? The only comics I have read with him in it were from Kirkmen's Marvel Team-Up where he just seemed like a lame Batman rip-off.

Either way, the new series looks interesting. Not a fan of Finch, but I'll give the first arc a shot.

Also, Joe Q said that West Coast Avengers would be back in some form.

Wow...I am loving this.
Moon Knight ongoing and West Coast Avengers?
As far as I'm concerned, excellent news...

And those MK preview pages...man they are sweeet.

This is great, I am looking forward to both Moon Knight and hoping the West Coast Avengers idea is going to be cool.

Look everyone a postive post. :)

Heck even the Moon Knight stuff makes me smile, I think Finich is well suited to that comic and the ideas sound good. :D

I might be, but it's been a long time since Millar wrote a comic that didn't kick major ass.

It just sounds too Infinite Crisis-y. Bickering superheroes.

"Remember when Bendis outted Daredevil? Imagine that but 100 times bigger. " Joe Q.
I don't know if it's a good comparison, at least for me.

Coming back to the statement, that kind of comparisons is simply stupid as hell especially coming from an EIC.
It's like kids at school stating my father is stronger than yours bla bla bla.
Too hard for the heroes who have great moral values, continuing in that kiddie way, will he be stronger than Wolverine??!! -_-
BUT, I'm sure that will be a good serie & wait to see what will that give.Glad to see they gave Moon Knight the kind of attention he deserves. The preview is great.

Another funny point is that some of Joe Q interrests are for characters who are subjects to future movie or TV adaptations(Thor, Ant Man & Skrull Kill Crew).Happy for him that Avi Arad doesn't have plans for Speedball ;p

The West Coast Avengers: isn't it the project with 2nd Avengers cast written if i'm not mistaken by Ellis

That Moon Knight preview page where MK slides on the spiked brass knuckles while walking towards that criminal is bad azz :D . I hope this series has some great graphic violence scenes, because I have always wanted to see Batman....*I mean*.......Moon Knight kill some criminals ;) .

David Finch’s pages are unbelievable, he is really I think one of the three best artist working in the business today. In many ways, much like John Romita Jr. or Mark Bagley, David’s style is truly becoming synonymous with Marvel. He’s redefining how our books look.

Thoughts about this claim?

I like Finch's style quite a bit (with the exception of his inability to draw different facial shapes), but I think tagging him as one of the three best artists in comics today might be a bit hyperbolic. I certainly don't think his work is on par with either Romita Jr. or Bagley.

I'm not sure how I feel about the new MOON KNIGHT series now. I'm not sure if I'm ready for the Punisher in a cowl....still gonna check out the first issue though.

Wow, poor Speedball. I mean there's gotta be something somebody could do with him. The guy's got the kind of powers extreme atheletes would dream of (fast paced bouncing around without the board or bungee). At the very least he could be used for Marvel's version of Grant Morrison's 4th wall breaking Animal Man run.

I lost interest in Moon Knight once Quesada started hyping the violence. Punisher style killing isn't my cup of tea. The art looked nice though.

Moon Knight has always been one of my fav's. An Essential Moonknight collecting the early 80's series should be put out with the new series.

The uber-violent aspect of the book is a little odd. Spector was never a friendly guy, definitely meaner than Spidey or Speedball but I don't remember the 80's series being driven by him bloodying up bad guys.

Although the first issue of the early 90's book had a tag line on the cover that said something like "all new violent series!", a rather distrubing marketing tool.

As for the Speedball jokes, I'm guessing Joe and Fabian don't get along too well.

"Who's side are you on", looking forward to it.

The Miller series he's talking is not 1985, right?

Yeah, I think "Who's side..." and "1985" are two different projects by Millar.
