It's in the Secret Origins Trade Paperback.

I'm not sure if it came out in a single comic, or if the Secret Origins is where it came from originally... Does anyone know if it came out in another form?

It's specially written for that TPB (out of print years ago). So, no single issue. But it's said they reprinted it with the Batman Begins DVD.

Yes, it is in the Batman Begins comic. It's really, really good.

Is it true that Batman Begins was influenced by this TPB/graphic novel? I know it has elements of Year One, but what about The Man Who Falls?

It is said in the documentaries on the second disk that this story as well as a few others did have influence on the film. That is one reason why they printed the mini tpb with some bat stories in it.

I am glad they printed that for inclusion with the dvd, because too many viewers watch comic movies and dont really understand, or care where the movies have come from. By printing the comic with the dvd, not only do they pay tribute to the comics, but they introduce the comic to a lot of movie fans that are not comic fans.

All of the comics in the book that comes with the DVD influenced the film.

Nolan also said that the Animated Series was a big influence, and will be more noticeable in the sequels. He said he was a huge fan of the show.

So hold on, what comics are available with the DVD?

And also, is the DVD like a Limited Edition or something?

They must have printed it small if they wanted it to fit inside the DVD case... Right?

1.) There's the first issue of Batman by Bob Kane, The Man Who Falls, the first issue or two of The Long Halloween, and one or two others.

2.) No, it's just the 2 disc special edition.

3.) Yes, it's a mini graphic novel of sorts. The size of a DVD case.

There's only three stories in it:
The Man Who Falls
Detective Comics #27
Batman: The Long Halloween #1
