Can you honestly say that you saw conclusive evidence that hayden was out of bounds? I didn't see any whatsoever. He was about half an inch away from the line to be honest. Had hayden's heel touched to ground he would have been out, but he wasn't.

What is bullshit though, peyton getting the MVP. Rhodes and addai deserve this. They made bears tacklers miss more times than I can count. While peyton was great after he got rid of the nerves, the RB's really broke the game open, and rhodes was just phenomenal.

The side of his foot was out of bounds. Doesn't have to be the heels.

So that's a yes, you saw conclusive evidence that hayden's foot was out of bounds. That, despite the film showing nothing of the sort, you know that hayden was out. Really?

I know the heel doesn't have to be out, but that was the area of contention. The commentators were discussing whether or not his heel had touched the out of bounds line. If it had he then would have been ruled out. But because he tip toed, he was able to stay in bounds. The announcers, and officials came to the same conclusion.

How you would know whether or not hayden's foot was out is beyond me.

I can't agree with that. But if you honestly feel that you saw that, I can respect it. I just can't agree is all. It's all good though.

Edit: Wait, are you talking about when hayden first put his foot down? Or about a step later? Because the controversy was over his left foot really. There wasn't anything to argue about the right foot. He was clearly in. Whether or not he stepped out with his left, right after he intercepted the ball could be seen different ways I guess.

Of course I'm talking about when he first put his foot down. I'm not so biased that I couldn't see the second step. He corrected himself good and quick the first time, but that close view from the back sealed it. Well, for me, anyway.

But this ain't the 1st time Miami got Chicago. They weren't satisfied with crushing Skyles's crew, I guess. Don't think cause the Dolphins weren't around...

There's really is no way to know for sure actually. He saw a play a certain way, I saw it a much different way. I can't ever agree with him, but I can respect his resolve. Especially in light of what in my view seems like overwhelming evidence. I know if I was in his situation, I would more than likely view things his way. It's kinda like sticking up for your team, no matter the circumstances. I can respect that.

Really though, was the question even necessary? Seemed like nothing more than an attempt to start shit.

There is no fact. We're arguing about whether or not hayden stepped out. That's something we will never truly know. I say the ruling was right, he says it wasn't. The fact that the officials sided with me, and the fact that despite that he can still hold onto his belief that hayden was out, despite professional refs saying otherwise is something I can respect. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but to me he's showing a devotion to his team. If I was in his shoes I'd do the same thing. I'd say "bullshit, that play could have changed the game", ect...Jesus.

There is no fact. We're arguing about whether or not hayden stepped out.

How can you say there is no fact? You said it right here. Unless this isn't what you are really presenting arguments about.

I can say that a controversial call that is ruled one way should be the other way; however, if there is evidence that says I am wrong, then I am wrong.

--Reggie Miller pushing off of Michael Jordan at the end of game 4 in the 1998 Eastern Conference Championship? Clearly pushing off. Someone who says that it wasn't is wrong.

--Jeffery Maier catching the ball before Mike Devereux could catch the ball hit by Derek Jeter in a game in the 1996 ALCS? Someone who says that it was a home run is wrong.

--Michael Jordan pushing off against Russell in the 1998 NBA Championship? Anyone who says he didn't push off is wrong.

Whether it makes me a better fan in the view of some, or just makes me a blind loyalist to another doesn't matter in the grand scheme of the nature of argument.

But there is a camera that shows he did or didn't. This is like asking did someone exist or not exist. For characters in a story by Plato, for who there is no knowledge of anywhere else, we will truly never know. Why this is something we cannot know is because we have no way of finding out. This makes it indeterminable.

However, we can know if someone stepped out of bounce prior to catching a pass or after catching it. Cameras catch evidence of it. This is very determinable.

I realize that this argument won't mean anything to anybody who doesn't care about it, but I do take the nature of argument pretty seriously.

We both saw it different ways though. The camera angle wasn't completely fullproof. You seem to think it was. Having a play on tape doesn't mean it's clear as day evidence. Looking back at the play, escpecially after sports center, it could have gone either way. That's why I said what I said.

By definition, it is clear as day evidence. This isn't like asking if a hit ball is a hit or an error. "Could have gone either way" is completely meaningless.

Did you see the play?

Working on it. I slept through it after attempting to read 250 pages in a book.

I told my friends the Bears chances of winning the Superbowl depends on which Rex Grossmen shows up. The one who lead them in the NFC championship. or the one who F&*ks up at the worst possible moments.

OT: I just realized that the Chat room here is gone. What happened to it?

rex led them to a championship? the dude has 23 tds and 20 ints. that is sensational. i can't believe i woke up early in the morning (4 hrs sleep, diff time zone) just to watch the bears get slaughtered. geez. they got beat by a neighing animal.

They sorta did, but your just a team Manager.

And it through out alot of the "professional sports players" aspects of X.

That, and I wanted an all Al Bhed team, but didn't know how to go about it.

Oh come on! The only game where poisoning, paralyzing, and magically ripping the Life out of your opponent is not only allowed but encouraged!!

Plus in a more Mundane way, Sleeperholds, Full Nelsons, and othermoves that are too deadly for wrestling are allowed.

Would've been awesome if it was a stand alone game.

Not one that had Wakka and Tidus. Better yet, if it wasn't in FFX. Then it
would've been good.

It takes some doing, but once you play a few games, your players start to level up to the point where they can actually win. The trick to really powering them up is to always assign them to the same positions. Plus, getting the Jecht Shot is key.

That, and I wanted an all Al Bhed team, but didn't know how to go about it.

You can recruit certain people by talking to them with the Square button, as I recall. There's a few Al Bhed out there who aren't already players (I know there's one in front of Macalania Temple), and most of the people you can recruit are generally tougher than your initial lineup.

The Trick? The Jecht Shot.

None of my other guys could score after a while, but Tidus would almost always score, even if they had all five players defending.

All you have to do is level up Tidus's shooting ability.

That, and I wanted an all Al Bhed team, but didn't know how to go about it.

Go hire Al Bheds. I liked the one sitting outside the temple in the frozen wasteland. I hired her cause I felt sorry for her sitting out there in the cold, and she turned out to be better than any of my other forwards except Tidus.

So, does the Silver Surfer negate gravity now? How about Thanos?

Surfer has always negated gravity. He flies through blackholes and enters hyperspace without aid. Thanos has no flight ability whatsoever and at best can levitate by manipulating a level of gravity around him. And we did see Thanos' ship get wrecked up by a blackhole with him in it and he came out of it with minor scrapes and bruises.

And DBZ is, of course, the pinnacle of physics.

No, it's the pinacle of PIS. Get that straight. :D

Can you actually name when this "gravity negation" was cited in comics?

You mean basicly you wanted the power Listed. Doesn't have to happen for them to have it. We all know Thanos has insane mental deffenses, but that was never listed as one of his powers. A power or ability doesn't have to be listed when it's demonstrated on multiple occasions.

From South Park silly.

Johnny Cochran : "Ladies and gentlemen of this supposed jury, Chef's attorney would certainly want you to believe that his client wrote "Stinky Britches" ten years ago. And they make a good case. Hell, I almost felt pity myself! But, ladies and gentlemen of this supposed jury, I have one final thing I want you to consider. Ladies and gentlemen, this is Chewbacca. Chewbacca is a wookie from the planet Kashyyyk. But Chewbacca lives on the planet Endor. Now think about that; that does not make sense!"

Gerald : "Dammit!"

Chef : "What?"

Gerald : "He's using the Chewbacca Defense!"

Johnny Cochran : "Why would a wookie, an 8 foot tall wookie, want to live on Endor, with a bunch of two foot tall ewoks? That does not make sense! But more importantly, you have to ask yourself, ‘what does that have to do with this case?' Nothing. Ladies and Gentlemen, it has nothing to do with this case. It does not make sense! Look at me. I'm a lawyer defending a major record company, and I'm talkin' about Chewbacca! Does that make sense? Ladies and gentlemen, I am not making any sense! None of this makes sense! And so you have to remember, when you're in that jury room deliberatin' and conjugatin' the Emancipation Proclamation, does it make sense? No! Ladies and gentlemen of this supposed jury, it does not make sense! If Chewbacca lives on Endor, you must acquit! The defense rests."

Well, Chubby as in, you can put your arms around them and at the very
least, your finger tips can touch one another without having to squeeze
the girl or stretch yourself.

And as for hot, hey, there is such a thing as TOO skinny. A woman has
to have some meat on her body.

She can have a little extra, provided it's not an overabundance. Usually
the bigger a girl is, the bigger her other finer assets are. (Again, within
reasonably attractive limits).

That also means the bigger she'll get as time goes on and metabolism starts to slow. Kindy thick now, could turn into very thick later, a property my friends and I termed MFP (Maximum Fatness Potential).

Well, the idea is that she doesn't pig the hell out to get bigger. I've known
women who are big, and have stayed roughly around the same size for
years.

As long as they don't eat more, they shouldn't get bigger. At least, it should
