I already have Billy Ray Beta...
I have Ultimate, Classic and Billy Ray Beta versions of Thor.
Ah. Never mind, then.
And I am really, really pissed right now. I beat Ultimo for Iron Man's simulation disc in the last minute because Ultimo's damage soak was just that high. I end up 300 points short of getting his locked suit...
Weird...I beat him and unlocked the suit on my first try. Maybe I clobbered more enemies...

Probably. That just pissed me off. I would continue to play but I am not in a happy place right now. But not at much as I am at Bucky. I am still completely ineffectual against Bucky. Seriously, nothing hurts the fucker.
And the missile. Yea...FUCK YOU, MISSILE.
I did the levels most as ways to level up and make more and more money, but I was also trying to get new duds.

If I recall an IGN article correctly, Thor's fourth outfit is Beta Ray Bill.
No, Thor's 4th costume is Rune/King Thor.
Not as impressive as Bill, though.

The wind blew sharp pricks of cold into the man's exposed hands, though his only emotion was a tick at the corner of his eye. The dark and ominous clouds above churned and brewed as the wind stirred them. The man paid them no attention as he stood in front of the withered old oak tree in the back of the old, and abandoned, cemetary. No one had been buried here in over 100 years, according to the tombstones, so the man knew he and his companion wouldn't be overheard or interuppted.
His black duster flapped in the harsh wind, though his black hat never seemed to move much. He took a cigarette from his pocket, put it in his mouth, and then lite it with a Lucifer. Taking a puff, the man exhaled the cloud of tabacco smoke as he heard the car he'd been waiting for approach, still several miles away.
Three minutes later, the car pulled up to the old cemetary with a crunch of gravel and old leaves. Seconds later, another man, this one taller and younger looking, wearing a lighter duster and no hat, stepped out of the car and walked toward the smoking gentleman, who was still standing in front of the withered old oak tree in the back of the old and abandoned cemetary. The two men stood in silence, looking at the withered tree and not saying a word. Minutes passed by before the smoking man began to speak to his companion.
"Been along time, huh Bill?" The younger man nodded his head. The smoking man contiuned.
"Yeah, too long. Been far too long since we paid our respects to our friends."
The younger man shifted, looking at the smoking gentleman.
"What's done is done, Alex. They're dead, but we are still alive. Doing what you plan to do will only destroy you, and Diane whouldn't of wanted that, Alex."
The smoking man looked over at his younger companion, and for the first time his silver eyes can be seen, shining with an errie light.
"So you've said before Bill. But regardless, those bastards deserve to pay for what they did to her, and to us."
"But what about.....you know what?", the younger man asked, seeming to fidget slightly at the look in the older man's eyes.
The smoking man smiled, and Bill's blood ran cold as he looked into Alex's cold, and unnatural, silver eyes.
"It seems I'm made of hardier stuff then you, Bill. I can already access part of it, though not all. Diane's lock was far more powerful then I'd originally thought, but finally, after ten years, I've managed to crack it enough to access roughly 10% of what I lost. I can do the same for you, Bill. Join me, help me, we can be a team again, Bill, and avenge those who fell!" Alex ranted on, his voice rising and his silver eyes shining even more.
Bill shivered again and looked at his old friend, pity, and despair, in his eyes.
"No, Alex, I can't. I have a life now, and I'm soon to be married. Diane gave us a gift, Alex, and I'm taking it. I don't want what we had back. I just want to live in peace. Besides which, only you and I remember anything. What's the point of taking revenge against those who don't even remember that they did something wrong?"
With a snarl, Alex's hand lashed out and grabbed Bill's duster, pulling him forward until their noses almost touched. Bill shuddered again as he realized Alex wasn't kidding, as Bill hadn't even seen Alex's hand move.
"I remember, Bill. I remember what they did to her, to our other friends, to us, and what they had planned to do later on. I don't care that most are dead, and I don't care if they don't remember their crimes, because I DO!"
"But this is what Diane wanted, Alex, she wanted to give us all a chance to restart our lives, even those who wronged us!"
"Bah, she was dieing and confused in the end. The real Diane would have crushed them and left them drooling morons. What she did in the end was a mistake, it HAS to have been!"
With a giant amount of effort, Bill pried Alex's fingers off his duster and fell to the ground, looking at Alex with a hard look in his eyes.
"You're wrong, Alex. I believe Diane knew what she was doing in the end, and I'll make her wish come true. I'll live my life, free of my past and the burdens there in. I'm sorry, but I can't help you."
Alex's silver eyes narrowed, his hands clenched, and his body seemed to vibrate for a second, but then the moment passed and he stood there, calmly taking a drag from his cigarette. Only his silver eyes remained hard and cold, looking at Bill in disappointment.
"Very well then, Bill, I'll do it on my own. Be warned though, if you get in my way, I *WILL* concider you and obstacle that must be.....removed. Stay out of my way, and you'll live a long and "peaceful" life, Bill."
With that, Alex turned around and, in the blink of an eye, vanished, leaving only a swirl of dead leaves behind. Bill got up and brushed himself off, then turned his head toward the withered old oak tree. His eyes trailed downward until he came across the five names, hand carved into the bark of the tree:

Marcia
Eric
Simone
Diane
With a sad, and tired, sigh, Bill walked away from the withered old oak tree, and his past, and back to his car. He started the engine and drove away, never looking back. His fiance was waiting, and he could no longer dwell on things that had happened. With one last thanks to his old friends, he drove around the curve and left the abaondoned cemetary with the withered old oak tree in the back. Only fate, and time, knew that one day, Bill, and Alex, would both see the cemetary again, only this time, another name would be added to the five others that were carved into the bow of the withered old oak tree.
Awesome stuff cant wait for the next chapter.

Yep. They were pretty easy. Especially with my power line up. Iron Man, Cap, Thor, and Iceman...
Any help for fighting Galactus would be good...
running is a good start. wait until surfer appears. press square on the three consoles. already beaten the game. my first team is composed of deadpool, torch, iceman, spidey. wisecrackers. im trying the hard mode now. already on act two. my team is now all gangsta. :D

Yea...I found the road. I had to run up the ramp to get onto the building since Galactus knocks you from the sky if you attempt to fly.
I loved it how if I screwed up on the button pushing when Surfer comes, and my guys fell over the edge, they wouldn't die...

sez who? i almost didnt finish that because torch and spidey fell to the bottomless pit. when i was down to the last console and galactus got punked by surfer i tried double jumping and my characters fell for some dumb luck. good thing i still got ice. dammit. im on the hard mode now and im telling you, im not feeling happy with that. the damage soak is insane. and the enemy healths are really something.

I'm still on normal because I haven't beaten Doom yet. I beat the Dark Fantastic Four, but had no clue what to do against Doom...
So I just went back to the simulator and leveled up, and got more money to get upgrades for my characters defense, XP and damage, etc...
My guys are nearly level 40 by now.
Heh. Against Galactus I had Blade fall to his Death, but I got to Surfer he was back, good as new. Galactus was pretty easy. Navigating the Galactus Punishers wasn't hard at all. I didn't need to kill them so I didn't.
I thought I had to run off the building to get to the road, not over it to get to the road. Before I beat Galactus, when I was running I always lost a minimum of two guys while at the beginning of the chase...

you have the option of keeping your stats. but only pussies do that. real men start from scratch. though you get all the levels, but you lose the items and the stat bonus. you keep the costume though. my fave character was supposed to be deadpool, but samuel l. fury rocks! :D
hehehe. on hard mode, im not gonna do any side quests. im too bad ass for that. i want to see the end of the MU. :D

the funny thing is, galactus uses peripheral vision to shoot his eyebeam. hahaha! he keeps looking straight ahead but the eyebeams shoots left.

I haven't died a lot. I just got to the Valley of Spirits. I have to say the road has been pretty easy so far with the exception of fighting Krang and that other guy at the first Sonic Emitter...
I had to separate them to beat them, then again, Cap and Thor were both dead and I had two replacements in for them.
Tiger Shark went down easily. One round of Extreme attacks from my guys and they he was half dead. Mysterio was even relatively easy compared to when I fought him before.
Then again, my guys are at level 42 or so...

I didn't do most of them.
When I went through on normal, I didn't heal Namor because I couldn't find the Temple, couldn't save Lilandra because I didn't know how, didn't save Odin, didn't save the computer in the Omega Base, chose Jean Grey over Nightcrawler.
I did pick up the broken Ultimate Nullifier, gave Valkrie back her sword...
The end scene was awesome. I am so getting UA2 when it comes out.

Alright, I'm stuck.
How the hell do you get Volla's ring?
Volla's ring is in a chest. You come upon two guys, you have to fight them. However, you do not get the key to open the chest yet.
The key is at the end of that section, down the hill from the saving point. It says "Examine fire", you pick up the key, go back and open the chest.

Pretty I rarely do I use Deadpool anymore. I like using Blade in his place when someone dies. Blade is definitely an asskicker. I have thought about using Storm but never actually have.
The Kraken was beyond easy, I was worried about fighting him on hard but it was easy.

I just thought of a new Mega Man character they shoulda added. Thug Man. I could see it now: He would have two weapons, the Gat Scatter, and the F-Bomb. The first one, he'd just take out a Kalishnikov and blow Rock away, and the second one, well he'd just start cussing like crazy, till Mega Man starts to cry and runs away.

With help of Smackdown! vs. Raw 2007, I've proved that Pirates rule all. For playing as Paul Birchill the wrestling pirate, I defeated Umaga, Ric Flair, Johnny Nitro, Psicosis, and a sixth guy I can't recall in a 30+ minute Money in the Bank Match.

Thunder boomed through the night sky and lightning sundered the heavens, illuminating the mansion breifly before becoming dark again. A shadow crept through the grounds of the mansion, unseen and unheard through the storm. Guards, posted at various entrances, moved about in their rain ponchos, cursing their luck at being outside during the storm.
Pity the guards, for they knew not what would soon befall them.
The first to fall was the west end patrol, guarding the servents entrance. His back was turned, so he never saw the shadow suddenly appear behind him, nor did he hear the slight hissing sound as a blade was pulled from it's sheath. He did feel, however, the bite of metal before his head flew from his shoulders. Before the body hit the ground, the shadow was gone.
North patrol was hit next. The man, standing near a german shepard, didn't see the blade either until it had punched through his heart, instantly killing him. The dog never had a chance to bark, either, before it was belted across the head, knocking it out. The shadow then removed the east and south patrols as quickly as he did the others, leaving the outside unguarded. In under a minute, six men were killed and two guard dogs knocked out.
The shadow, having removed all obstacles on the ouside, then quietly passed into the servent's side door. Two more guards with guns were taken out at a stairwell, their throats slit before either knew what happened. The shadow made his way up the stairs, moving faster then the camera's could detect.
Three more guards spilt their life blood around the corner from the stairs, dead before they could give a shout of warning.
Moving quickly, the shadow burst down the door at the end of the hallway. The room, however, was prepared for him. Standing in the back was an older, fatter, man, wearing a nightgown and holding a revolver. In front of him were five men with guns drawn, who, upon seeing the door get knocked down, began unloading their guns at the intruder.
Time seemed to slow down as the intruder pulled an odd looking metalic rod out from behind his back. As the first wave of bullets came toward the intruder, his finger hit a hidden button on the rod, causing it to suddely slide open and reveal two hidden blades. The intruder, just as the first wave of bullets were less then a foot away, then brought the blades up in front of him.
Time seemed to lurch back in place as the intruder's hands and blades blurred. Bullet after bullet were deflected away by the spinning blades, the intruder pouring his speed into his hands so as to keep up with the onslaught of hot slugs being thrown his way. The fat man standing behind the security team began to gawk as the intruder parried each bullet away, his hands and blades moving faster then the fat man's eyes could see.
The bullets stopped as guards frantically tried to reload their clips. They never stood a chance.
With nothing more then a flash of light off the blades, the intruder disappeared from human site. Then the guards fell one by one, each with their throats slit. Arterial blood sparyed across the air and landed all over the fat man's face, his eyes wide with terror. He puleld the trigger on his service revolver, blasting the six rounds at the intruder. The intruder dodged the first one, blocked the next three, then dodged the next two, only to parry the last back toward the fat man, striking him in shoulder.
The a cry of pain, the fat man dropped the weapon. The intruder then picked the man off the floor with one hand and slammed him against teh wall, his feet dangling off the ground. The intruder then began speaking in a calm, deadly tone.
"Hello, Colonol Jameson. You don't remember me, but I remember *you*."
"Who are you!?", shouted Jameson, squeeking in fear as the intruder removed his mask and smiled a chilling smile, his silver eyes reflecting off the slight sliver of moonlight coming in from the window.
"My name is Alex, Colonol, and I've come to collect on a debt."
Before Jameson could make another sound, a blade punched through his stomache and back out, pinning him to the wall. His eyes bulged outward slightly and he started choking on his own bile. Alex smiled again, this time, the moonlight reflected the madness in his quicksliver eyes.
"This is payment for what you did to me and my own, Colonol. May you rot in hell for your crimes." Alex then twisted the blade and pulled it out, allowing the fat man to fall to the floor, whimpering through the blood and bile in his throat. Wiping the blades off on the bedsheets nearby, Alex resheathed them, forming the black rod again.
Alex then seemed to vanish from the Colonol's dieing eyes, leaving only a small burst of wind that flapped the drapes slightly. With one last choking sob, Colonol Jameson died, not knowing for what reason he, and others liek him, had been slain.

A few days later, a man wearing a black duster and black hat, smoking a cigarette, stood overlooking the quiet and sheltered city of Coldstone High, population 12,300. A sinister smile across his place, the man began moving toward the neearby forest, where lies the ruins of a burnt out old military base. At least that's what the public thought it was. Little did they know, dark and powerful secrets lay beneath the burned out base. Secrets that only two men still knew of.

And I have progressed far into UA on Hard mode. Only the bosses are hard, and some of the hordes of lackeys.
Totally couldn't fight it out against the Galactus Punishers after you meet Galactus the first time. Currently stuck on Titannus. Guy is like the fuckin Juggernaut.
Loki was hard because of the Chain Lightening, but his rhythym is easy to see. Same with Gladiator. His rhythym is easy to find. Heat Vision is blockable.
So I'm doing what I do when I get into these situations. I do simulations and level up. :D

07? Not only are they severly outnumbered by the other year teams, the 07 team also lacks power and fearsome reputation, seeing as how of them havnt even been here long enough for their rumbler balls to drop. Thats takes what, atleast a month or two, if your an early bloomer?

So the only way i see them winning is if everyone else focuses on the bigger threats and they all kill themselves off in the process, leaving 07 the victor.

Ahh, 2005 for me.
Actually, as of yesterday, I've now been here for over two years.
However, we all lose to Peter, Yeoman, The Watcher, Tanith, Hitokiri, The MunchKING, The Real Nemo, ect......(i.e. the Old SO Guard).
I find myself more and more like Doctor Strange every day. Vast power and all, but put against the *REAL* cosmic players (the above mentioned), I'll lose.
Oh well, my neutrality contract I signed with The One Above All, The Presence, Tenchi Masaki, L-Sama, Cthulu's (sp?) boss, Haruhi, OMG! The Almighty, and every other true Upper Cosmic grants me the ability to sit out in these types of fights in my Weapons/Item Shop.
