It's god damned amazing. I mean fucking AMAZING.

I didn't get a new game system this year, so I opted to get Smackdown vs. Raw 2007, Dragon Ball Z Boudokai Tenkaichi 2, and Bully for my Playstation 2.

Plus I got Alien Hominid from a movie store for about $16 bucks.

Bully and Alien Hominid fucking rule! THEY FUCKING RULE! And Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2 is good. The controls are a little difficult, but still good. And Smackdown vs. Raw 2007, well, I haven't played it enough to get a good handle on it, but from the little I've played, it's visually pleasing.

Add in what else I got, I say Christmas was pretty good this year.

I got an onslaught of awesomeness on DVD. Old-School TMNT Vol. 2, Venture Bros. Season 1, and lovingly, Garfield & Friends Vol. 2, featuring such classic lines as...

"You! You're not Sylvia! You're one of the Kung-Fu Creatures on the Rampage...2!"

And...

"THE BUNNY RABBITS IS COMING!!!"

Yes. I'm probably the last person on earth to do so, but I saw the Iron Sheik shoot from last year. It never interested me until now. I wonder what ever happened to B. Brian Blair.

JL's starts out slow, and moves slowly to a "climax". JLU's is fast and loud from the start. Maybe there's point to it. I just don't like the change in music.

I don't have JL on dvd, but I saw some episodes at the comic shop I frequent.

And here's an answer from a colleague on the topic of pirates vs. ninjas:

There isn't a thing on this earth more inexplicably retarded than a ninja supporter. They're even dumber than actual ninjas, [which] in reality were nothing more than simple-minded farmers. What's sadder than the fact that ninjas have fans is the fact that at least half of them only like ninjas because of Naruto. There is, however, one thing worse than a ninja-loving emo kid that reads Shonen Jump while playing DDR...fake pirates like you. In addition to soiling the name of pirates, you also crush your images beyond any form of redemption. Pirates do NOT yell ARR, AVAST YE, SHIVER ME JIBBLETS and the like. Nor do they stalk around giddily proudly proclaiming their status as a pirate like a schoolboy who just received a bronze sheriff star from a police officer that spoke at a first grade assembly.

How cool can one quote be?

Guts/Batman

He's a military hero of the nation
But he doesn't always follow regulation
At the sound of reveille
He is here for you to see
And we know you'll laugh with private Beetle Bailey

And the General, Colonel, Major, and the Captain
The Lieutenant and the Sergeant and the Corporal
They will tell you with a shout
They could gladly live without
A certain private by the name of Beetle Bailey

Man I so want to get that game. And I've already beaten Bully, meaning I need a new adventure game to play. Speaking of which, Gary Smith was too damn easy as a final boss fight.

Then again, compared to Russell, the first boss fight, all of them are rather easy.

And where is the Black Panther action figure in Act 1?

Take a look at the book that is in each area for a cryptic description on what they want you to do. Some are rather hard like the area in which you must toss those Demon Leapers into the lava pit, or the area where you have to beat the zombies on the platform to get them inside the imprisoning rings. One or two involve using wieldable weapons to destroy something. All you should have to do is look around the area for something you have to destroy or manipulate. But watch out for your AI partners, they will fight you every step of the way on the harder ones.

As for the Panther, no clue. Never bothered to look.

Dig under the floors! Or search the barns! You'll find plenty! Beans, salt, rice, cake! Look in the valleys, they've got hidden warehouses! They pose as saints but are full of lies! If they smell a battle, they hunt the defeated! They're nothing but stingy, greedy, blubbering, foxy, and mean! God damn it all! But then who made them such beasts? You did! You samurai did it! You burn their villages! Destroy their farms! Steal their food! Force them to labor! Take their women! And kill them if they resist! So what should farmers do?

For my unconquerable soul.

I have not winced nor cried aloud
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the horror of the shade
And yet the menace of the years
Finds and shall find me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate
How charged with punishment the scroll
I am the Master of my fate

That's damned impressive. I've had two go off at the same time. I have Iceman's freeze beam up the second highest it can go at the moment. If I wanted to buy the last point, it would coast me 116,000 some to buy it.

I got through a lot of the game yesterday over the 11 hours I played. I was concerned after portalling to Doom at the end of Act 3, that I would have to face him because I couldn't save at any pint after beating Loki twice.

The the Loki Asgardian Destroyer, yea, I kind of lucked out when I saw him Loki in the frozen ice and started beating on that. I could do absolutely against him.

Deadpool's mission was pretty easy compared to some of the others. Iceman, Doc Strange, etc. I couldn't defeat the Rhino with The Thing. I wish there were rewards for beating the guys in the simulation...

My chief asskicker is Iron Man, followed by Thor. Cap is close behind. The back ups I most use when Iceman, Thor, Iron Man and Cap die are: Blade, Doc Strange, Deadpool, Ghost Rider. I put in Spidey in "Doom's Castle" (aka Murderworld), but that didn't go well. He couldn't do crap to Jean.

I have considered using Ms. Marvel or Spider-Woman for the "Avengers" line up, but Iceman kicks too muc ass to be taken out.

Simple strategery, really: Once the character I'm playing as has a full meter, I switch to a character that doesn't, and so on until all four characters have full meters. Then I save 'em for bosses and unleash hell.

Aye, that was an odd one. I didn't even figure out how to beat him until after it happened.

Deadpool's mission was pretty easy compared to some of the others. Iceman, Doc Strange, etc. I couldn't defeat the Rhino with The Thing. I wish there were rewards for beating the guys in the simulation...

Yeah...other than Deadpool, I got the Bronze reward for Iron Man and got my ass beat as Blade and Spider-Man. It occurs to me now, though, that since you unlock costumes 2 and 3 by defeating enemies, the simulators are a good way to get both of them fairly quickly.

Pretty sound strategy.

Aye, that was an odd one. I didn't even figure out how to beat him until after it happened.

Same here. I just found Loki's body, started beating despite the fact that it didn't have a HP bar on it. Then he just kinda fell over. I was much relieved.

The only ones I have actually tried are Captain America, Iron Man, Deadpool, Thing, and Thor. Iron Man I failed the only time I tried, but I think I am at a high enough level, I should be able win him now. Ditto for Captain America.

I wonder what Thor's other outfit is. I hope it is kickass. Almost all of my guys are at level 34 or 35. I think what I'm going to do is go back through the game on normal again, but with different characters to get my guys up to the higher levels before going to hard level.

My team tends to fluctuate more than it should. Right now the only constant is Ghost Rider, primarily 'cause I max-leveled the Resurrection ability as soon as I got the Original costume.

I've used Ghost Rider, but he's just not powerful enough for me to put him in for the big guys. I think he will be one of the guys who gets higher when I go back through.

I got to Doom for the first time last night. Big G was fairly easy. I was hoping that Silver Surfer would stick around for my team but no. I imagine my next line up will be Blade, Doc Strange, Ghost Rider and someone else...

Maybe Iron Man or Cap.

I have no idea about how to go about attacking Doom. I'll probably see it. It was 3 A.M.ish when I fought him last night, and was pretty tired.

Couple other things, to all who can answer it, where are the Black Pather figures in Acts I and II. And where is the DD figure for Act 5? That's all I have to get before unlocking him...

The wind blew sharp pricks of cold into the man's exposed hands, though his only emotion was a tick at the corner of his eye. The dark and ominous clouds above churned and brewed as the wind stirred them. The man paid them no attention as he stood in front of the withered old oak tree in the back of the old, and abandoned, cemetary. No one had been buried here in over 100 years, according to the tombstones, so the man knew he and his companion wouldn't be overheard or interuppted.

His black duster flapped in the harsh wind, though his black hat never seemed to move much. He took a cigarette from his pocket, put it in his mouth, and then lite it with a Lucifer. Taking a puff, the man exhaled the cloud of tabacco smoke as he heard the car he'd been waiting for approach, still several miles away.

Three minutes later, the car pulled up to the old cemetary with a crunch of gravel and old leaves. Seconds later, another man, this one taller and younger looking, wearing a lighter duster and no hat stepped out of the car and walked toward the smoking gentleman, who was still standing in front of the withered old oak tree in the back of the old and abandoned cemetary. The two men stood in silence, looking at the withered tree and not saying a word. Minutes passed by before the smoking man began to speak to his companion.

"Been a long time, huh Bill?" The younger man nodded his head. The smoking man contiuned.

"Yeah, too long. Been far too long since we paid our respects."

The younger man shifted, looking at the smoking gentleman.

"What's done is done, Alex. They're dead. Doing what you plan to do will only destroy you, and Diane whouldn't of wanted that, Alex."

The smoking man looked over at his younger companion, and for the first time his silver eyes can be seen, shining with an errie light.

"So you've said before Bill. But regardless, those bastards deserve to pay for what they did to her... and to us."

"But what about.....you know what?", the younger man asked, seeming to fidget slightly at the look in the older man's eyes.

The smoking man smiled, and Bill's blood ran cold as he looked into Alex's cold, and unnatural, silver eyes.

"It seems I'm made of hardier stuff then you, Bill. I can already access part of it, though not all. Diane's lock was far more powerful then I'd originally thought, but finally, after ten years, I've managed to crack it enough to access roughly a small portion of what I lost. I can do the same for you, Bill. Join me, help me, we can be a team again, Bill... and avenge those who fell!" Alex ranted on, his voice rising and his silver eyes shining even more.

Bill shivered again and looked at his old friend, pity and despair, in his eyes.

"No, Alex, I can't. I have a life now, and I'm soon to be married. Diane gave us a gift, Alex, and I'm taking it. I don't want what we had back. I just want to live in peace! Besides, only you and I remember anything! What's the point of taking revenge against those who don't even remember that they did something wrong?"

With a snarl, Alex's hand lashed out and grabbed Bill's duster, pulling him forward until their noses almost touched. Bill shuddered again as he realized Alex wasn't kidding. He hadn't even seen Alex's hand move.

"I remember, Bill! I remember what they did to her, to our other friends, to us, and what they had planned to do later! I don't care that most of them are dead, and I don't care if they don't remember their crimes, because I REMEMBER!"

"But this is what Diane wanted, Alex, she wanted to give us all a chance to restart our lives, even those who wronged us!"

"She was delirious and confused in the end. The real Diane would have crushed them and left them drooling morons. What she did in the end was a mistake!"

With a great amount of effort, Bill pried Alex's fingers off his duster and fell to the ground, looking at Alex with a hard look in his eyes.

"You're wrong, Alex. I believe Diane knew what she was doing in the end, and I'll make her wish come true. I'll live my life, free of my past and the burdens there in. I'm sorry,Alex... but I can't help you."

Alex's argent eyes narrowed, his hands clenched, and his body seemed to vibrate for a second, but then the moment passed and he calmly took a drag from his cigarette. His eyes remained hard and cold, however, looking at Bill in disappointment.

"Very well, Bill, I'll do it on my own. Be warned though, if you get in my way, I will concider you and obstacle that must be... removed. Stay out of my way, and you'll live a long and "peaceful" life."

With that, Alex turned around and, in the blink of an eye, vanished, leaving only a swirl of dead leaves behind. Bill got up and brushed himself off, his head swiviling toward the withered old oak tree. His eyes trailed downward until he came across the five names, hand carved into the bark of the tree:

Alan

Marcia

Eric

Simone

Diane

With a sad and tired sigh, Bill walked away from the withered old oak tree; his past, and back to his car. He started the engine and drove away, never looking back. His fiance was waiting, and he could no longer dwell on things that had happened. With one last thanks to his old friends, he drove around the curve and left the abaondoned cemetary with the withered old oak tree in the back. Only fate, and time, knew that one day, Bill and Alex would both see the cemetary again. Only this time, however, another name would be added to the five others that adorned the old oak tree.

Those are my revisions. You did a great job, and I'm looking forward to seeing the rest.

Can I say I was genuinely surprised when I found out MC Chris was white? I was. The guy sounds like Chris Rock on helium.

I wonder what Thor's other outfit is. I hope it is kickass.

If I recall an IGN article correctly, Thor's fourth outfit is Beta Ray Bill.

I thought the exact same thing. I watched a clip where he was ranting on Kingdom Hearts 2, and he even started using various intensifiers and exaggerations, just like Chris Rock does in his standup.

I already have Billy Ray Beta...

I have Ultimate, Classic and Billy Ray Beta versions of Thor.

And I am really, really pissed right now. I beat Ultimo for Iron Man's simulation disc in the last minute because Ultimo's damage soak was just that high. I end up 300 points short of getting his locked suit...

Hell, I have played the last couple hours attempting to level up my guys. And Bucky...

FUCK YOU, BUCKY!!!!!!!
