Why would I be in a ''turkeycoma''? As a good Canadian, I celebrated Thanksgiving last month (October 9th, to be exact). :p

As for why the thread remains open, I suppose I should tell you that the rules about the ''5,000 post limit'' were changed. After discussions with vBulletin's developers, Jonah concluded that the large threads were not a significant cause of problems with the server, so he's rescinded the limit for the time being. When the thread nears the 10,000 post mark, we'll revisit the issue, but there's no need to worry about it for now.
