Thirdly if you go past the speed of sound, you would create sonic booms.

Fourthly if you move faster than the speed of sound you can't hold a conversation.

Fifthly if you are moving faster than 1/24th of a second then no one standing around you should be able to see you.

And finally writers cannot freaking write good super speed stories.

Really the closest I have ever seen to workable Super Speed is Quicksilver.
