I used to live down that way, and I didn't realise how much I missed it until I saw that first photo. Ah!
Good roundup. Sounded like a fun convention/festival, and I'll have to get out there when I'm back in Blighty.
I'd love to know more about this Bryan-Hitch-as-Death's-Head thing too.

Most of the word i've heard was pretty positive. Some complaints about dealers/small press being positioned off the beaten track seem to be the main complaints.
I hope there's another one, the UK can handle two big national events a year and Brighton sounds as if it'll fit into a different niche to Bristol. Talking of which, only six months to go....

Except the Bristol one is going to be happening in Brighton from now on - which adds a good two hours onto my journey and means I probably won't go :(

There's two a year, Bristol will still be in May with Mike Allwood running it with some help from Dez, and Brighton in November.

Wow - Fantastic!! You've made me a happy man!!!
Around the time of last year's Bristol con, they were saying it would be happenning in Brighton from now on. They must have changed their minds

The gossip was that Bristol was dead but that was never really the case.It was decided before the first Expo last November in Bristol that two a year would be the case.
As for Brighton it sounds as if the dealer/exhibitor complaints can be sorted out then it's a winner.
