Ed Cunard is a great guy. There's no getting around that.

And he's got a great avatar. And a great signature. And a great state. Come on, show the love for all things Edward. Just think what CBR could be after one week of Cunnarding.

For one week, let's show the love for all things Ed. Let imitation be the sincerist form of flattery.

Go on. You know you want to.

Wait, that's what all this is about?

I thought it was a coincidence.

Nothing would get done, what with all the gay cowboys slipping in piles and piles of pudding and all.

And it's Edmund, which is infinitely more pretentious sounding--perfect for reading all those comix I pretend to read to look hip.

(Thanks, though--I've been having a shitty week or two, and this cheered me up a bit.)

And now I want Turkish Delight.

Personally, I find Ed-mund to be a demi-god among men.

And henceforth, he shall be called Sir Ed-mund the Munificent, as I have borne witness to his generosity and benevolence.

To quote half the Marvel tag-lines of the sixties:

"And lo, there shall be a reckoning."

And I reckon Ed deserves this thread.

Nate C.

you damn right, funny bunny.

I'm not a clone, you are.

I LOVE Ed!

He should be king of the month at CBR.

No, scratch that, the UNIVERSE.

We are the Ed.

Lower your morals and surrender your avatars.

Ed will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our Ed.

Your culture will adapt to service Ed.

Resistance is futile.

Have a nice day!

Nate C.

Or in people time, since forever.

It's when you left CBR to go on tour. We needed someone to fill the ranks and we figured Ed, Punchy, what's the difference?

Punchy
11-21-2005, 05:22 PM
What's the difference? ... well ... not that much.

good point

We dig jazz, hip hop, and indie comics. The difference between us is that you are a musician, hence infinitely cooler.

And you dig sports, which I don't understand.

But we both like to cuddle.

...for when "The Ed Cunrad appreciation thread isn't enough"

I think Ed's avatar is probably the most awesome one on CBR. He just looks so geekishly cool and awesome.

The Cunardization of CBR is confusing the newbies!

Already one of my arguments (or non-arguments) has been mischaracterised. However, Cunard is just so cool that I'm going to keep this avatar for another day.

Cunard. Any same that sounds like Garand is cool in my book!

Is he here from the Anti-Cunard universe to make continuity better by making it so confusing that no one can understand it enough to question it?

I thought that was my job.

Yay! I now have a "variant".

Shellhead
11-22-2005, 09:28 AM
I don't understand that question.

I think that it must be an obscure reference to the Weaponers of Cunard.

http://www.glcorps.org/qward.html

"Cunardians are generally of human size and shape, and are almost identical in appearance. Perhaps a eugenics program or genetic tampering has homogenized the population, but there have been a number of superpowered Cunardians throughout the years. The humanoids of Cunard have unusually large eyes, the iris of which can dilate widely, allowing excellent night vision."

That'd work, too.
I was playing on the whole Crisis/Monitor/Anti-Monitor thing, though... to SPECTACULAR EFFECT, I might add. :D

Celebrations will commence at 11:30 to send off the great Edmund.

In all fairness though we're not just talking about a normal man here. We're talking about CUNARD! (random ancient army raises their swords and roars "CUNARD!!!!!")
