Greg Pak will be taking over writing duties on The Incredible Hulk with #92.

It sounds like a really old-fashioned goofy Marvel story. Well, I'm certainly interested. And I like the art. Very nice.

Greg Pak has not sold me over his past stories thus far; it will make this easy to skip. He should go back to writing for video games.

ill give the first issue or so a shot but this doesnt look good to me. the hulk, completely out of his element. it kind of makes me think of when jonah hex went to the future.....just a bad idea. the hulk is a tragic hero, not a space faring sci fi adventurer. the best hulk stories of all time are human stories. the worst hulk stories of all time are where he is "over-hulked"

imho

that sucks...i'm really digging dan way and was hoping he would stay on the title. everything pak writes has been marginal at best.

the picture of gladiator hulk fighting those tentacles was so damn awesome... I hope we get the Hulk board back

Looks like they're making Hulk into Hulk The Barbarian.

I hope he's not going to do a "Hulk Conan in another planet". While it looks good in concept Pak isn't the right guy to go to for this type of thing unless he by some magic power writes something great. I also didn't expect the story to go quite this way since I thought Hulk would be crossing over to other titles but I guess the trip changes him so much it'll affect the other books somehow.

Why am I reminded of Superman on Warworld and Mongul with this arc...?

I am kind of interested but am going to fall back and see what happens, and pick it up in trade later if it doesn't get savaged to harshly.

It reminds me of the Jarella epic from about 30 years ago, which I liked.

I'm hopeful for this.

The only thing that has me easing away from this is Greg Pak, and it's more that I'd rather have current writer Daniel Way on board.

Am I the only one who's hyped like crazy? - This stuff is what made me love comics to begin with! This could be my no. 1 comic next year!

I hope Hulkie looks like Russell Crowe

Yeah, but like Hondobrode said, the Warworld thing was similiar to something Hulk already did in the 70s. So it all evens out.

Plus, yummy delicious Ladron covers. Which is odd, because wasn't he having a tiff with Marvel?

Speaking of Hulk saw Peter David vol. 2 (Visionary tpb) today at my comic store - It looked amazing! I'm thinking of picking it up - should I?

The 3rd one with Dale Keown is cancelled!

I was hoping Way would write it since i haven't liked the Pak stuff I've read, but it does sound like a cool idea. I always thought the Hulk was best when placed in a more epic adventure like in the Pantheon, or when he fought the silver surfer, or that Maestro story. I've been waiting for something more along those lines for a long time so this could be cool.

 you mean the third Peter David Hulk Visionary tpb has been cancelled? say it ain't soo.

Now im looking forward to this storyline..I was hoping for PAD to write it but that was wishful thinking on my part. I haven't read any of Pak's other stuff and ive heard mixed things about his work. But at this point anyone is better than that GOD awful Way......I just can't wait for him to get off this title!
