Dinner Party with the X-Men!

This game is all about fantasy dinner party guests.

You are having a dinner party, and can invite any five guests from the X-Verse. Please tell us who you would invite and why you chose those five.

I'll start by listing my hypothetical five dream dinner party guests.

The next player - player b - follows by choosing three of my guests and two additional guests of their choice, explaining why all five are at their table.


The third player looks at the guest list of player b's and chooses three of those five to join his dinner party, plus two additional guests who may not have previously been for dinner with anyone else during the game

Player four should then include in their post a list of dinner guests who have previosuly been used and dismissed, so that we have an uptodate list of ineligible dinner guests.

For example, this is my hypothetical guest list (for demonstration purposes only!)

#1 Scarlet Witch - It can be an alternate reality party! Plus, she can increase the probability that Johnny Depp might drop by. :D

#2 Kitty – We can discuss Colossus!

#3 Rogue – She could use a friend right now. I would try to convince her over dessert to forget about Gambit and move on with her life.

#4 Dazzler – music and light. The perfect combination for a party. Get our grooves on. :p

#5 Boom Boom – She is a riot! I would never have to worry about the party getting boring. Nothing like a few well-placed explosions to stir things up.

Since my guest list was for demo only, the next poster may choose their own five guests to get us started!

After that ... the next player must pick three of the first five, then add two of their own and explain their own reasons for all five being at their table

[Beast]

1. Beast - Brilliant, Charming, Muscular, Blue and Furry. The romantic sorta of guy, that would be fun to flirt with from the first course til the last. He's staying over after dinner, whether he likes it or not.

2. Dark Beast - Brilliant, Twisted, Muscular, Gray and Furry. For that akward family reunion. For when the more vanilla side of Hank gets boring, whether for dinner conversation or after hours.

3. Nightcrawler - Funny, Charming, Velvety Fur. Just fun to have for dinner. He's there more for the charming wit, than for any plans after dinner. Though I'm certainly not ruling it out.

4. Pete Wisdom - Need to have someone sarcasting and annoying there. Someone who rubs everyone the wrong way. And not in the good way. Plus I bet he's a fun drunk at parties.

5. Lupa - Need to get the handsome furry gentlemen so that playing nicely and to stay the night. Of course she needs some kick to make sure it works. After all, can't have Beast resisting her again.

1. Beast : One of the coolest X-folk by far. Humorous, erudite, a gentleman in blue fur.

2. Dark Beast - If he gets out of line, he gets a smackdown.

3. Nightcrawler - Humorous and adventurous, yet a deeply philosophical man.

4. Shadowcat - It's my dinner, what'd you expet? She can reminisce with Kurt, geek out with Beast, and help keep Doc in line.

5. Colossus - Because I want to see him when he isn't being tortured by some writer. Because I want Kitty and him to have a nice relaxing dinner. Because I need some serious muscle in case Dark Beast needs it.

1. Beast: because he is just that loveably charming, intelligent guy that every meal needs.

2. Nightcrawler: he is a good listener with a good sense of humor, and if you forget something BAMF he'll get it.

3. Colossus: hello eye candy.

4: Deadpool: Is that allowed? I don't know. But he is hilarious, as long as he comes to dinner in his mask. Because umm..it might be unappetizing, but then how would he eat! oh i don't know. still, hilarious and quite the party person.

5. Rogue: I imagine that she would be an interesting pair up with Deadpool in terms of delightful sass.

Rogue -- I think she'd be great at breaking the ice. And she has lots of good stories, many of which aren't even her own.

Colossus -- Someone can take out the trash.

Nightcrawler -- Every party ends up having a theological discussion. It would be great to have Kurt's input.

Magma -- She'd be brilliant to discuss ancient Roman mythology with, not to mention art and philosophy, and she'd be a good counterpoint to Kurt's religious points.

Storm -- She'd be able to help make it a perfect night. Weather-wise, of course. ;)

After dinner Colossus could go home and the ladies and I would get down to business. Jean - Becuase I'd like to get her and Scott in a nice setting and let them finally get back together. Plus I love redheads. She could also help w/ dishes and moving everything around.

Marvel Girl - Something abot short haired redheads that I love. Plus she needs a nice dinner with mom and dad.

Mirage - She could make some great illusions for me...but that's a different posts, and nothing with ballgags.

Cyclops - See Jeans. Also could discuss leadership tactics and proper team motivation.

Psylocke - Do you see what she wears? DO YOU SEE HER COSTUME? Yea...nuff said.

Cyclops- because the dinner would be all about making him uncomfortable

Jean Grey- because she was married to him, and he cheated on her.

Psyloke- because Cyclops was into her at one point.

Emma Frost- because Cyclops is currently doing her

Madelyne Pryor- because she's a clone of Jean that Cyclops was once married to, had a kid with, and then abandoned because the real deal came back to life.

Madelyne Pryor - She has more drama than anyone I've ever met. And there always must be unnecessary drama at a party. Cardinal rule.

Cyclops - He'll be there to fuel the drama.

Emma Frost - Hell yeah, she'll be there to fuel it, too. Madelyne will go nuts. Mwahahaha. I don't think she'd like my party, though. :( I was planning on chips and salsa. I can't picture Emma Frost eating chips and salsa.

Dazzler - To add some pizzazz to my pizzartay, and to help with the drama damage control. Because she's awesome. And I'd take a lot of pictures of her. A LOT.

Thunderbird (Neal Shaara) - I want Dazzler and Neal to talk Bollywood. If Dazzler did some Bollywood, I would be too happy for words. And he just seems cool. :P

Then we can all do musical dancing in the middle of the party, drunk, while the other 3 settle out their drama to our humorous benefit. ;)

Thunderbird (Neal) - just so I can watch his clumsy attempts at come-ons with the ladies present.

Dazzler - Eh, she'd be more fun than Emma Frost.

Cyclops - Because I don't want Pryor or Emma at my table.

Gambit - Because he'd show Neal how to be smooth, and he's actually a great conversationalist.

Polaris - So that Deus ex Chris can get his wish of someone other than Iceman or Havok with Polaris as Gambit seduces her while Neal watches and desperately wishes he was that damn smooth.

DIMISSED - Emma Frost. Go the hell home and become evil again, you harpy.

Polaris - She needs a nice quiet night out. No stress. And then I can interrogate her to find out exactly what the eff she saw in space!

Dazzler- Some evening music to listen to, some amazing stories of life on the road. Also, she looks like she could use a good meal too.

Cyclops- Now here's a guy who needs to relax, without Emma's hand up his butt controlling his every move. (How she manuevered her hand past the stick that was already there is beyond me)

Madrox- Someone to be the life of the party, and also serve as the wait staff.

Cannonball- He could do with a nice conversation from the original leader, maybe get some hints for when he takes over his own team.

the connection- one person from Uncanny, Adjectiveless, Astonishing, New Excalibur, and X-Factor.
