You know, ever since he got that new job he's here less and less. We never see Crowley anymore!

I bet he thinks he's too good for us now.

He won't tell, I tried to guilt it out of him but it didn't work.

All I can get out of him is Devil's Due Publishing.

And I'm the one that built his web site and hosts it for free!

Thanks Cam!

can I just tell you all that G.I. JOE #6 has some really great stuff in it?
it's 48 pages! There's some just awesome stuff in that book...

If you haven't read Hack/Slash and seen the work of Stefano Caselli... you're really missing out. He draws some really sexy and genuinely tough women... his Scarlett and Cassie kick ass and snarl.

And his Snake Eyes is just tops!

He spilled the beans. I can't believe he spilled the beans.

I can't decide if I'm proud of myself for guilting it out of him... Or ashamed of Crowley that he cracked so easily.

Thanks Gail!

you know... honestly, it's been really good.

When you read the story and see Stefano's art showing asskicking in a really fun and kinetic style... Well it's just awesome... he made Scarlett look genuinely sexy and tough in the first issue.
Plus Zartan's origin!!! The colors in that story are just beautiful...

G.I. JOE Sigma Six is terrific fun and the cartoon is really good once you get past the "Team America" like theme song. The figures are absolutely badass... I would highly reccomend it for kids. It's good Roger Moore-James Bond action.

Questions....

Did you always want to be a letterer? Do you letter by hand? Who are some of your fav letterers? Do you think letterers get the props they deserve? What does the future for letterers look like in the biz?

1. No, but I enjoy doing it... my goal is eventually to do graphic design work, illustrations and paintings for comics...

I'm a novice and I working with really talented, kind, patient and FUN people. I've never laughed as much at a job... or enjoyed the people that I work with more... And though I'm an illustrator and Graphic Designer and I've worked alot of freelance and such... I'm learning every day.

2. NO WAY! Strictly using Adobe Illustrator, BUT... the old guard that did it by hand... have NOTHING but admiration from me.

3. Joe Kubert, Steve Seeley, Jared Fletcher, Darwyn Cooke did an awesome job with his issue of SOLO.

4. I get my name on a book... to me that's all the props I need at this point.

5. I think in comics today it helps to be a double or triple threat, Brian Wood, Darwyn Cooke, Tim Seeley, Mignola etc...
so I think the future of lettering is alot of multitalented people wearing alot of different hats.
