If I swung that way...both of them. Good grief, why choose one over the other?

Phil looks like an average guy. and there are much better pictures of john cassaday. he is the best looking guy in comics. no competition.

I cant believe I’m commenting on this. Ladies and perhaps gentlemen back when I was a lurker on CBR I read something to the effect that John Cassaday is, oh how shall I put this, rather fortuitous in the size of his male genitalia when compared to others. I googled and found the topic but I got a V bulletin message telling me I could not access the forum so I’m not going to bother with a link as I don't want to get in trouble. Cam if you still have you guns shoot me now that I've embarrassed myself with more knowledge than I should know about John.

The Astonishing Mr. Cassaday.

Making out with Jimenez is like making out with George Perez but not as good.

You know, you keep posting photos of them in the same post, and someone will start a Jimenez/Cassidy slash movement.

So far the only vote poor Phil is getting is a vote of no confidence.

I would buy that. I would pay good money to watch them make out as well.

When I think of slash I think of edged weapons so I googled in and stumbled upon a comic book orientated slash/yaoi fan fiction webpage. I exited out quickly but not before feeling cheap and used. I now know how Yogo felt after watching one of my favorite movies ever.

It started with Kirk/Spock slash back in the day, apparently.

I'm not much of a fan of it, simply because all the slash stuff I've read seems to be having the characters out of character but....it seems to be akin to the guy wish to have gorgeous women start making out with each other, only it's women wanting to watch guys snog.

Since the LotR movies, the level of slash has risen greatly on the internet. I think it's because Legolas looked so purty.

Cassaday is much cuter, but I wouldn't want to risk causing a delay on Astonishing.

Occasionally gay men post slash (although far rarer than one might think). This is usually in order to get some level of representation in what ever they are a fan of. I do not mind this since gay people see basically nothing that reflects anything genuine or true to them. Particularly when it comes to Jr High/High school people who are basically alone in the first place.

Believe it or not ..80% of slash fan fiction is written by females!..go figure.

Neither of the posted photos appeal to me -- they both look so damn wholesome and nice -- but Jimenez looks more likely to be my type.

Usually, when I check out slash, what I find interesting is what it says about the fans... typically, slash tends to be (when I've read it) about the fan's desires for the character. Though there was one interesting series of Buffy slash I found that was more about Buffy bashing -- it was set on the premise that in the scene Buffy dances with Xander and Angel gets jealous in "When She Was Bad," Angel true jealousy is that he wants to dance with Xander.

One kind of slash does ick me out, though. I read on Wonkette that there's Daily Show slash out there... slash about "real" people is a little past my comfort zone.
