I've seen some people here put picture's they've made themselves into their posts, and I was wondering how you did it? Do you have to host it on some website somewhere? Does it cost money?

Thanks in advance!

Well, to post an image, you need to use the IMG tag. It will look like this: (IMG)image URL goes here(/IMG). But replace the parentheses with square brackets.

Depending on what you want to have an image of, you can sometimes just link to the website where you found it. Some sites do not allow this. If that's the case, of if you want to link to personal photos, then you will need to upload them to an online photo site. Photobucket (http://www.photobucket.com) is a pretty decent one, and it is free.

You'll upload your images to their site once you create an account, and they will give you the URL that you will need to use.

Also, if you are talking about posting your own artwork, deviantart.com is a good one. It is also free.

Be careful though. Once you know how to do it, it's difficult to stop. You can easily become a prop comic. Sometimes I feel like the Carrot Top of these forums. I think the only person that posts more pics than me is StoneGold.

Judging by the embarassed smiley he used, I think he knew that.

We need an internationally recognised sarcasm smiley.

I thought that was the roll eyed one. Or is that one the insulting smiley?
