It's actually a really good interview. I'm not terribly thrilled with Bloodline, but I know I'm in the minority.
So, like, check it out! He even answered one of my questions!

Cool interview.
I read Mutopia X, Colossus Bloodline so far... and I have 198 and Son of M on preorder.
David Hine is a bit rough round the edges but I think a few years down the line he'll be top of hi game. He seems to have a good head on his shoulders and researches everything he can for his stories.

I am reading Colossus:Bloodline and enjoying it so far (sorry Xak!)
DD Redemption was good. He does seem to be a nice guy and I loved his summation of Colossus' character. I think his idea of making Colossus a descendent of Rasputin was great.
And I was intrigued with the premise of Rasputin's madness being passed down thru his descendents. But that's just me. And I love the historical aspects of the story.

I also forgot I read Redemption. I thought perhaps it would of worked better for as #5 mini but I still loved it. It was something very different to what I'm used to.
Wow. I've read alot of Hine over the past few months.
Magik's magic powers could also be linked to Rasputin, no?

Redemption was good, issue #5 did flag a bit, but then #6 ended it with a bang. I loved that story because of the fact that it was based on actual events, and I loved that he was able to take something from real life and then add DD to the mix.
I don't remember Illyana's magic powers being attributed to Rasputin (mostly cause I have a terrible memory!), but given his involvement with mysticism it would make for an interesting development.

I don't think it has been mentioned but I'm just saying there could be some sort of connection there if a writer (perhaps even Hine) decide to bring it up.

I soooo wanna check out Redemtion. Can't wait to pick up the trade, Slivez.
The 198 and Son of M sound incredibly kickass, too, and even though I've been trying to cut down, I may check them out. I've heard good things about Hine.
He's getting around, isn't he?
