They don't make breakfast, but it's right down the street and the best food that will get you going after a wicked hang over. So, we go there most Saturday mornings/afternoons. Usually we head back to Beths and watch TMNT and practice our ninja moves, but this week is ROBERT KIRKMAN!!!!

I love Qdoba. Their nachos are so comforting.

I'm curious as to that myself.

Cause I'll riot if they're all $4.

And Generation M, Son of M (God they're not even trying with these titles), 198, and the rest better not be $4 either.

I have all but 1 or 2 issues. I've been waiting until I finish reading my Deadpool collection before jumping into it.

I read X-Men Unlimited #35. I think that's about it.

I just don't read many regular DC Universe titles.

Weekend plans:

Go see my grandparents, who I haven't seen in, let me think...at least four years. Where they will inevitably ask me the questions:

"Where's your girlfriend?" (or) "Do you have a girlfriend yet?" (or) "Seeing anybody special these days?"

"So, what are your plans for marriage?"

Fun.

Really? Wow, I thought Fox was on this whole big kick where they were showing interest in it and making a push for new viewers. What happened to that?

*shrugs* That sucks, but it's Fox for you- the network that cancelled Wonderfalls, Greg the Bunny, The Tick, The Family Guy... need I go on? Sorry to hear it, Ryan, but at least they managed to get 3 seasons in; in this day and age, that's impressive for a good show to last so long.

It comes from the fact that when typing quickly, many people (myself included) often misspell "the" as "teh." So in internet-speak, if something sucks, it's "teh suck."

From what I understand FOX feels they can milk Prison Break better in that slot. Plus i believe ratings where down.

I wish it were 3 seasons. Looks like 2 and a half. This season's episode order got cut down to 13 episodes from 22.

America wasn't watching.

I'll definitely agree that she does better on some books than others. I looooved her Deadpool and Agent X, thought she really "got" what those books should be about, or at least what kind of book I like to read. (To get me to read about Deadpool is no mean feat in itself.) Her Birds of Prey was... good, I felt, but a little too into the girl power thing (but then, what should I have expected?), and I recently dropped it because I'm just not feeling it anymore. But there were some good issues in there, no question. And... actually, I really haven't read much else that she's written, so I can't comment on it, except one issue of Action Comics, the race between Bizarro and Zoom, where I really don't think that she "got" Zoom. But overall, yeah, I'm a fan.

The one near me has Season 2 but not Season 1.

Plus I think TV/DVD selections should rent for cheaper. Nip Tuck Season 1 is what 4 discs? At 4 bucks a pop that $16 plus tax. I can buy the season for $25 used most places.

That is true. Season 2 had 5 or 6 discs, so I probably should have just bought it. Now I am depressed! Why did I not think of that?! Frak. I was just so excited to find it for rent, I grabbed it and ran.

I think they should rent the seasons as sets too, instead of making you rent each individual disc as a seperate rental.

They should rent for cheaper, especially the older seasons.

I didn't leave feedback cause I didn't know how!! I was just thrilled I found my way in :D I was finally able to add the third strip at Livewire Review!

And the Apex site looks great! I am a bit jealous. We are in the process of a site re-design for the Review site.

:) I'm a feedback whore. I probably made those two posts sound more bitter than i meant to. The last comic i put up wasn't really my best anyway. I think this "season" has jumped the shark.. but who knows. I've done crazier shit. It'll probably work out ok in the long run of the comic.

The first three weeks were nominations. Now there are specific choices for which you can vote.

This week is for the Forums, not any specific people. So you can vote for X-Cres as the most entertaining thread, or you can vote for the X-Books as your favorite forum. SO GO DO IT!!! :D

Then on Monday, check to see if anyone you know/like are in the final ballots for the Poster voting.

I can't watch porn until after I get my check-up from the doctor. I want to keep my body (heart) as...stable as possible.

And that wasn't what I wanted to watch, anyway. I was going to rent "Hitchhiker's Guide" because I don't feel like getting it from Blockbuster or Netflix, but it turns out I can't, anyway. It's one of these movies where you hear lukewarm reviews about, so you don't want to purchase it at a place where they'll "recommend" other things to you. *coughNetflixcough*
Lukewarm is exactly the word to describe the movie. I thought it had a couple funny bits, and some nice homage bits, and a whole misguided subplot. A terrible, eye-gougingly bad, soul-rending subplot.

But there's a bit with Marvin that's good somewhere in the middle.

Nobody asks me to come on AIM. :(

Oh, wait, I don't log onto AIM anymore. Because I don't feel like, you know, actual TALKING. Posting is better.

The last time I signed on AIM was to update my Buddy List.

Meh.

Anyway, I'm off to watch Hitchhiker's Guide to blah blah. Later, all.

I've signed on a grand total of two times this year on AIM.

I can't watch porn until after I get my check-up from the doctor. I want to keep my body (heart) as...stable as possible.

You could always, y'know, venture outside and physically rent the movie from a blockbuster or hollywood video place.
