I just looked at the 466 preview thread and damn that looks cool!! BTW were those markings supposed to be the Houndmarks or the Bloody Tears of Bogan?

I do have an avatar w/ Jean what may be considered a trechcoat, but it's cut off. So, I used this one instead cuz its funny.
Also, Rachel- I don't know what that is, I just thought it was a shadow on her face at first.

Too angular for a shadow, I think. I'm guessing it's the Tears, but it just looks like really bad runny mascara :p

I could be... persuaded.
Actually, I won't do that, because that was interpreted as being mean. I just don't think Beak has any reason to win this, since most of the people voting for him have not read the Exiles issues he was in. A travesty, I tell you, a travesty!

I don't really see it that way.
Mostly because after being posessed by Apocolypse Scott was feeling so different.
They grew apart. Scott was being weird and Jean was being (I daresay) selfish..... or at least she was focusing on her own issues more than Scott's. Because she didn't think it was a big deal and Scott did and that caused a rift.

Well that was all Lobdell's fault. Scott and Jean had years together in the future. Couples that stay together that long and who were still as in love as they were when they returned need to have solid communication skills. Not to mention all the time they were in each other's heads with their rapport.
Jean and Scott would almost HAVE to know each other's dark sides. To say otherwise is just plain silly

It would be better if I didn't have to try and help every customer that comes through. There are just some days where I've got so many people that want to pay for their items and so many people asking questions or for a refund at the same time.

Beast, I hope there are no hard feelings about this. I apprecite that you, at least, liked Beak in Exiles. I didn't, and it bothered me that people were voting to save him more because they were Morrison fans than Exiles, or indeed X-books fans.

Just out of curiousity, do you dislike Morrison's run more than Milligan's current run? More than Austin's run?

I am a lone wolf
I always was and will be
I feel fine, I am resigned to this
I am a lone wolf
I am a lone wolf
Got my cares
Wrapped up all nice and neat
In my suitcase
I’ll take it down the street
To a place with plenty of space for me
I am a lone wolf
I am a lone wolf
It blows my mind
That people wanna try to get inside my tired head
I am a lone wolf
I am a lone wolf
I am a lone wolf
Nobody needs to get too close to me
You’ll only see this truth
I am a lone wolf

Ladies and gentlemen of the G.E.D. class of 1999,
I have one piece of advice for you:
No matter what a stripper tells you,
There is no sex in the Champagne Room. NONE!
Oh, there's champagne in the Champagne Room,
But you don't want champagne... you want sex
And there is NO sex in the Champagne Room
Don't go to parties with metal detectors-
Sure it feels safe inside, but what about
all those guys waitin' outside with guns?
They know you ain't got one
If a woman tells you she's 20, and looks 16, she's 12
If she tells you she's 26, and LOOKS 26... she's damn near 40
Take off that silly-ass hat
The O.D.B. couldn't have possibly committed all those crimes
Coolio did some of that shit
Young men -- if you go to a movie theater
and someone steps on your foot, let it SLIDE
Why spend the next twenty years in jail
'cause someone smudged your Puma?
Cornbread -- ain't nuttin' wrong with that
No matter what you think of what I'm saying,
Remember this one thing: there is no sex in the Champagne Room
If a homeless person has a funny sign,
he hasn't been homeless that long
A REAL homeless person is too hungry to be funny
If a girl has a pierced tongue - she'll probably suck your dick
If a guy has a pierced tongue - he'll probably suck your dick
Here's a horoscope for everyone-
Aquarius: You're gonna die
Capricorn: You're gonna die
Gemini: You're gonna die TWICE
Leo: You're gonna die
Scorpio: You're gonna die fuckin'
No one goes to Hooters for wings
If you've been dating a man for four months
and you haven't met any of his friends, you are NOT his girlfriend!
Some of the things I've said may not apply to you
Some of the things I've said may offend you
But no matter who you are, you must remember this one thing-
No matter what a stripper says,
There's no sex in the Champagne Room
NONE

I dunno. Titan Slade seems more like 'Evil Clown' to me.
Evil Clown is very quick with a joke, but his jests always have a barb. He has little patience for in-depth discussions and will often disrupt exchanges between serious forum participants by introducing irrelevant topics, fatuous quips, and offhand comments. His greatest thrill is to taunt and humiliate weaker or more plodding Warriors with his snappy ripostes. Not a particularly powerful Warrior, Evil Clown will attempt to avoid defeat by accusing his attacker of having no sense of humor.

I found Fishtaco!
Mediocrity is Lamer's salient characteristic, yet the word "mediocre" seems inadequate to fully encompass the crushing dullness of his personality. Not one of his utterances demonstrates the faintest insight on any topic, no glimmer of wit or humor brightens his conversation, nor does stone ignorance of the subject at hand discourage him from sharing his views. He isn't even obnoxious enough to justify banning him from the forum. He's a very weak Warrior in the conventional sense, but not even the most stalwart opponent can withstand prolonged contact with this truly fearsome Warrior.

LOL Too funny. I know people who fall into the "Lamer" category in real life, that I have to deal with everyday. Completely devoid of any and all personality whatsoever.

LOL Okay, I love DDM and all, but this is sooooooo him:
Android doesn't anger, nor does he engage in actual combat, rather he will merely point out the logical inconsistencies of other Warriors. Irony and sarcasm are completely lost on Android, and being impossible to insult or injure in any way, he is invulnerable to conventional attack. If, for example, someone were to call him a pinhead, he would get out a tape measure and after finding that his cranium falls within normal size specifications Android would dismiss the comment as erroneous. Android's circuits are not equipped to process ambiguous or aesthetic input, consequently any extensive discussion involving personal feelings, intuition, art and metaphorical allusions will quickly drive Android from the field of battle.

I'm actually glad. I love the book, but I tend to find that -- in contrast to superhero books -- I want there to be a defined ending for Vertigo books. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for revisiting the material like Neil Gaiman does on occasion with Sandman, but I also like the idea of a definitive ending point. I'm glad that Mike Carey has a planned conclusion for Lucifer that I'm looking forward to reading, and the same for Y the Last Man. My feeling is that Preacher went on just a few issues too long (don't get me wrong, the ending was great, but Salvation was mostly superfluous for me), and it hurt the book; I don't want to see either Y or Lucifer jump the shark.

I know what you mean and i agree. It's really a mix of fellings. While i want to see an end to the story, i still want to read it every month. And this book, specially, is aways a great read. Seriously, i've never been disapointed by any issue of Y.
