LOL ok #1 Astonishing wasn't cancelled. Poor Havok, can't even be a star in his own book. Cyclops = General Havok = Colonel mabye, whatever the level below Cyclops is. Or actually from last arc I guess he's below Storm and Emma aswell. So sad.

wow just wow and it looks like they have to colourists now instead of one i loved all of that preview and beast looks lovely i am so glad this book finally got one issue with decent colours and inks.

Good preview. It's nice to see characters from the other books appearing. And Beast actually looks good in this. Unlike his horrible appearance in Bizarre Love Triangle. :)

I think Lorna's reaction makes sense, since she was all off in her own world when Bobby busted in.

My guess is that she's asking these questions due to Bobby's depowering. After all she was very close to him when it happened. Also see 'House of M: The Day After' for more Lorna and Bobby. :)

That artwork looks really good although that Wolverine jumping out pose looks like a familiar image.

Since it continues right where HoM: The Day After left off this should be interesting to read with regards to the whole Sentinel watch they seem to be going with now. I'm usually a bit nervous about the coloring when Liquid! doesn't do the whole thing but those pages look damn spiffy enough for me to not even care.

I'll be copping this for sure.

no erm liquid is'nt the only colorist in that comic there's another colourist aswell i think the colourist who did x-men #165. i love the preview, the story is much better.

The preview looks good. I'm glad that the New Mutants are joining in, too. I don't like Sal's Rockslide, but the rest looks cool. I'm afraid I'm still not going to pick this book up. I'm done with Peter Milligan. I hope that Peter David takes over.

I am done with the book as well. I like the team roster very much, but the cast of Havok, Polaris, Gambit, Rogue, Wolverine, and Iceman have not been written worth a d@mn by Austen or Milligan and I can't take it any longer. And Larroca's interior art has been average at best on the series(although his covers are great)so the art is not strong enough to make me stay either. I am not a huge Claremont fan(horrid repetitive dialogue), but I am starting to wish that he was writing this book because it can't get any worse than what we have had over the past few years.

this preview did nothing but confuse me....i guess it was a pretty good teaser....is Lorna depowered? are the Sentinels friend or foe? lots of questions to answer. at least Po didnt have the "man jaw" she has been sporting lately, its nice to see Rogue flying again...i just pretended the flame around her wasnt there and i got a nice little feeling of nostalgia and awww...look at Julian all busting up in the fight! he is so cute! ;)

I know, she would have been the perfect candidate for a depowering. At least get rid of Sunfire's powers from her. blah, I hate her with them. I can't believe one of my favorite characters (Sunfire) was ruined for this.:rolleyes:
