Hi Folks,

I know that there are a number of wrestling fans on this board and thought that I come to you about the current OVW product.

Do many of you get to watch the weekly OVW TV show? Is it any good? Was the October set of shows nearly as good as all the online reviews have stated? Has anyone ever bought the TV shows directly from their website? VHS or DVD? Is the quality any good? Is Paul Heyman the head booker? I've read rumors that he may not be leaving. What are the sheets saying?

I've got a 10 day overseas business trip coming up at the beginning of December was thinking about purchasing some OVW to view during my down time in the hotel. Any advice/opinions/suggestions about making this purchase would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Paul Heyman is the head booker with Al Snow, Tommy Dreamer, and OVW-owner "Nightmare Danny Davis (no relation at all to former evil referee "Dangerous" Danny Davis) rounding out the creative team. Heyman has managed to turn Matt Capotelli into the hottest babyface the area has ever had... and Capotelli hasn't even been able to wrestle due to injury for months!! Johnny Jeter (current OVW Champ and former tag team partner of Capotelli) has got more old-fasioned heel heat than any wrestler in a long time. Especially when you consider the OVW crowd is made up primarily of smarks (smart marks). Almost ever feud in the organization revolves around, and is influenced by, things that have occurd in the Capotelli/Jeter story. the formerly lackluster crowds are louder and more excited than ever and OVW constantly has to turn away people from the shows... including the FREE ones!

OVW sells their programs on DVD at their website in four episode installments. It is decent quality production without a lot of bells and whistles.
