No Mans Land-easy.

Darwyn Cooke's New Frontier.
Y: The Last Man.

Within continuity, I'd have to go with JLA/JSA: Virtue and Vice.

I liked the Obsidian Age storyline a few years back in the JLA.

I recently got a box of DC comics, about 100 or so, that was going cheap. In it there was a five or six issue run of L.A.W (1996 or 97) with Captain Atom, Blue Beetle, Judomaster and others. Does anyone else remember this? I really enjoyed it.

I loved the Obsidian Age as well. Heavy, deep, exciting read. Kelly's run is severely underrated by fans IMO.

Tough Question....

In the last 5 years I've had a few favorite storylines:

-Kevin Smith's and Phil Hester's Return of Green Arrow (I think it was called Archer's Quest, I forget)

-Geoff John's Blitz arc in Flash, which created/revamped Dr. Zoom

-Loeb and Lee's Batman Hush arc. People knock it, but was tons of fun with tremendous art.

- More recently Geoff Johns and Ethan Van Sciver and Moose Bauman's Green Lantern Rebirth. Loved it.

Those are what jump out at me, but I'm sure I'll think of a few more once I click submit. :)

Green Lantern: Rebirth - Restored my favourite character to life.
Adam Strange - Great miniseries featuring my second favourite DC character
DC: New Frontier
Flash - Blitz especially, but pretty much all of Johns run.
JSA-JSA crossover - I love DC's GA heroes, so it was great to see them in action again.
Rann/Thanagar War - I love big space epics.

The aforementioned JLA/Avengers was awesome, and that Plastic Man arc was the stuff! I totally forgot about it. MAN, I'm gonna miss that book!

I liked No Man's Land as well, but I'm in the minority of fans who liked "Bruce Wayne: Murderer" even more. Such landmark moments in Bat-history, thanks to Rucka et al.

Add to the list Tower of Babel and Crisis of Conscience from JLA, Titans Tomorrow from Teen Titans, Black Reign from JSA, Rogue War from The Flash, Gail Simone's new classic Villains United, and the entire run of Young Justice.

Outside of continuity, of course there's Busiek's wonderful Superman: Secret Identity, Superman: Red Son, and the JSA: Liberty Files set. I also got a big kick out of Batman: Detective 27; it was more engaging than I expected.

Last but not least, the short lived final Batman Adventures series, which remains some of my favorite comic books ever.

- Morrison's run on Animal Man

- Reign of the Supermen (yeah, I liked it! so what?)

- Green Lantern: Rebirth

- Aquaman: American Tidal (issues 15 to 20 and beyond)

If I had to pick one it would be American Tidal. Great story. Great art. Great writing. Everything about it was awesome.

Man you have never lied. That comic getting cancelled should be against the law. One of the best Batman comics I've ever read, bar none.

New Frontier was awesome.

Secret Identity and Red Son were great Superman stories.

Teen Titans 1-now.

Morrison's World War III arc in JLA:
Although it's barely within the last 5 years at this point, this is the arc that got me back into comics after a 3 year hiatus.

JLA/ Avengers is another one that strongly resonates with me. Detractors can say what they want, but this one is about nothing if not the pure joy of fandom.

"Relentless" and "No Easy Way Down" from Brubaker's CATWOMAN run are easily the best comics of the 2000s, from any company. Lots of people have written "everything in the hero's life goes wrong" stories before, but no one has done it to such devastating effect, and no one has shown the ramifications in such heart-breaking detail.

*sniff, sniff* I still wish Slam and Selina could've worked things out.

The past five years? Mainstream DCU?

"Out of Time" in the past year's JSA. It was great. I fell in love with the Hourman character, right then and there.

I also absolutely loved Rebirth.

And then there are, to be exactly 5 years, the last issues of Robinson's Starman. The perfect end to the perfect series.

Of course, there's also JLA/Avengers.

Definitely Starman from 'Grand Guignol' through the end of the series with its perfect finale. Also, the Brubaker run on Catwoman from when Cameron Stewart took over on art chores until Gulacy started up. Legion 1-13 under Abnett, Lanning, and Coipel. Simonson's Orion series. JSA up to about 60 or so. The Monolith (almost forgot that one).

Out of them all, I specially enjoyed American Tidal (Aquaman), which gave more depth to the character.

I also liked Blitz (Flash); those two are the ones I can name for now out of the top of my head.
