Where does Sentinal's Power come from since he doesn't have a battery?

IIRC, the most recent alteration changed the starheart into the ring. Presumably it's self-powered.

How long does it TAKE some people to catch up on changes? :p DC doesn't have a "Sentinal", or a "Sentinel" either. He's been "Green Lantern" again for at least two years.
The source of his power is a magical entity called the "Starheart". He absorbed so much of its energy over all the years that he wore a ring and drew power from a lantern that now he has 1) internalized that power, 2) become directly connected to it ("mainlines" it, in the same sense Wally West "mainlines" the Speed Force), become a being of pure Starheart energy, 4) all of the above. The explanation du jour tends to fluctuate among the above options. ;)
