i get irritated when my favourite programmes get put out there and everybodies into them... it happened to little britain, family guy, the office and now its gonna happen to curb your enthusiasm.... id love to recomend this programme but then i wouldnt want you all to go and watch it incase you liked it and then it became popular... but ah, to heck with it... its GREAT... funniest sitcom ive seen in ages... anyone else share my love for larry david and his all too many socially awkward yet hilarious situations? oh and dont even ask me why i hate programmes to go mainstream, it just bugs me...ok?

I love Larry David. He's sick. He's got a phenomenal supporting cast too: Cheryl, Jeff, Susie, Krazy Eyes Killah, Wanda, etc.

Um...too late? It's immensely popular here, at least. I saw some frat boy dressed as Larry David for Halloween.

Ok, not only is this show already well-known and extremely well received like Pho says, but why would you not want people to know about it? I never understand the point of that. I know you said to not ask it, but I'm asking anyway. It's such a lame concept.

"I like this, but I hope no one else does. Unless I think they're cool. Or they discover it accidentally on their own. I'd hate for the actors/director/writer/artist/musician to receive adulation/credit/money for this."

Yeah, I just don't get that.

Yeah, I just don't get that.

I thought it was how indie snobs kept their already flimsy cred intact.

I've been waiting for CYE to get a decent slot on British tv, ok, it's stuck on digital with More4 but it deserves a bigger audience. If only to show all those who think Ricky Gervais is cutting edge and original with the source of much of his current material.

CYE deserves a big viewership but it's been stuck with the "minority audience" tag our beloved TV producers love to tag on shows like this.

Considering my parents in Wisconsin watch it I'd say it's safe to say it has a mainstream following here. Honestly who cares. Personally I want all my favorite shows to have mass appeal. Then there would be more stuff on TV I can watch.

I wish that they would have Seinfeld do a guest spot.

I love it. My wife and I don't have HBO, but we rent the seasons as they come out on DVD. Sometimes I just ask "Why does Larry even go out in public?" It's obvious that some catastrophe is going to happen as a result of every conversation that he has. Great and funny show.

I'm sorry if it bugs you that people like me are enjoying it, Venomman.

Seinfeld did a cameo in the season 4 finale.

i dont care if all americans like it so much... cus that dont affect me, but when all the brits start to watch it.. man oh man... perhaps you dontr understand, its not that i hate the concept of everyone liking it.. sometimes that can be good cus it makes for good convo... but when you find a bit of tv gem all for yourself that you can relish in every sunday night... its so special. But then the big corps get a hold of it and shove down every single pathetic little assholes throat... and then they all laugh about it cus its popular. Ok that was a bit extreme, but seriously.... i hate it when things are overuse... they just get so boring. Like little britain, i used to think that show was the best but now i hear the jokes all the time... i hear people sitting on buses doing impressions.. i hear richard and judy doing in impressions and its just soooooo lame... maybie its not the same in america, but over here when things go mainstream they just get real old and fast. I guess im just not a mainstream kinda guy... i dont tend to like much mainstream music, i dont watch many modern films or read many modern books or even comics for that matter.... i am kinda stuck in the past but thats just the way i like it.

What are you on about? The more you recomend this brilliant show, the more airtime it will get and the more series theyll make. Seriously, make people watch the show. I let all of my friends borrow the boxset ive got and they all loved it. Its the best sitcom, ever.
