I recommend that everyone who is reading IC, goes back and read Trinity by Wagner and then re-read Infinite Crisis. It kind of weird to watch Batman, Superman and Wonder woman start off on such a hopeful footing and establish an interesting relationship and then read IC to see just how bad the friendship has been severed.

Yeah I guess. Just what happens sometime. Though in Trinity it seems Batman and Wonder Woman don't see eye to eye straight away in the first place.

True, But what a Kiss.

I did this because you are basically going from the beginning of the Trinity with it's hopeful ending of a promising friendship to a very dark time for the big 3.
Interesting contrast.

Didn't see that kiss coming, I thought it was hilarious.

Am I the only one that thoght Batman and WW should hook up. After the JLA arc with the 2 of them 'working things out' and the subtle hints in the cartoons, I think it would have been cool to see that develop. But alas, I don't think that's going to be on the cards for a while - if ever.

I agree that it would be cool.
But I am a bias Catwoman fan, so it's hard for me to see him with anyone else.

That's fine. Although I really want to see a Batman/Wonder Woman thing, I always have Batman/Catwoman as a more realistic choice. They just seem more suited to one another even if B/WW have some chemistry.

Actually I thought I was the only one. It's not really a popular idea but I was always for the Batman/Wonder Woman relationship. Even if for only a short time. Clark's married, that ship has sailed. I was actually searching for that issue of JLA where they dealt with it but I couldn't find it anywhere.

I wonder if Wagner put that kissing scene in Trinity to kinda tie in to the things going on in Kelly's JLA.

Are you talking about the issue where WW and Supes fight in a battle for a thousand years together. Or the WM issue where she and lois finally talk about who Supes heart belongs too.

In regards to Supes and WM, I think that Kingdom Come presented a pretty good way in which they got together without ruining his relationship with Lois. Wagner seems to like the idea of Supes and WM more,

Wonder Woman " Again ...I thrill at the very sight of him (Superman)"
p. 142 of the HC Trinity

And this is after being kissed by Batman.

There was notable friction among the Big Three in TRINITY, and thus, it sets the stage well for their conflict in INFINITE CRISIS. We can see the roots of the problem lie not in what has happened in recent months, but in the very beginning of the Big Three's association with each other at the dawn of the Modern Heroic Age.
