It's from Sony (http://spiderman.sonypictures.com/) so that's as legit as you're going to get.

Wow, they're actually going to use the green shirt with the black stripes from the comics?

Cool!

And the Osborn genetic hair.

What's up with his arms though? His right one is all massive, and the left one is relatively tiny, despite being in the foreground.

but is venom official? i dont see how the two will fit in the movie. unless like spiderman fights sandman and loses and then spidey gets the symbiot suit and beats sandman to a complete pulp...which is when he realizes the suits taking over and he gets rid of it and then brock gets it and becomes venom. so the half of the movie where sandman is the main villain they build on brocks hatred for spiderman and then when sandmans out of the picture brock becomes the main villain

Personally my theory is they are going to try to make Venom/Spider-man relationship sort of like Faith and Buffy on the Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Where Eddie is sort of like Peter without the moral code.

So it might be the two of them defeating Sandman but through some circumstance Eddie decides to ally himself with Harry in the end and maybe becoming the bad guy of Spider-man IV.

Or Peter dons the suit throughout all of Spider-man 3 ditches it in the end where Eddie who is introduced early on in the film and finds it.

Though I'm holding out hope Dunst was wrong and Grace is playing Electro.

Left one looks photoshopped. It's really fuzzy near the shirt.

All things considered, I'm far more likely to believe that the Popeye arm on the right is the photoshoped one. I just don't see Church bulking up that much.

ummm... didnt sandman have a grainy body in the comics? he was made of pure sand so wouldnt his body always look like sand.... for some reason i imagine a mummie like fighting/chase sequence between spiderman and sandman. You know what i mean... the scene in mummy where the sand storm is chasing them..

Maybe the whole arm-thing is just one of them at a weird angle.

The real test is going to be the sand effects, though.

unless that picture is before he got the sand powers. he was a petty bank robber in the comics and got his powers after escaping from prison

Besides, when not using his powers, he doesn't necesarly look all sandy.

Maybe the arms are out of whack because he's about to use his right arm to blast Spidey.

DonC sees it:

Maybe the whole arm-thing is just one of them at a weird angle.

Not really all that weird, just different. On the right forearm you're seeing the SIDE. On the left forearm you're seeing the TOP. And the fact that on the right, the part where the forearm curves back to the elbow is obscured by his hip, making it seem even bigger (O.K., THAT angle is weird).

I tell you this: When they actually DO start with FX, we are gonna SOOO love it. I mean, Nowdays they do such a good work it's amazing. I remember when i was affraid of how they gonna "screwup" doc ock, and when trailer went online, i was pising my pants off. I think when trailer of third part goes into the net, i must remember to change my underwear:D
