It's out definitely out there. Just have to ask your retailer to order it in, as it's an indy book, it's not going to get all that much attention unless you're proactive really. #2 should be out now I think. Just finished #4 here. The IDW site isn't as up to date as it used to be.

Here's a page just for kicks. ;)

Ben,

I'm digging Shadowplay a lot. It's an interesting read!

With Shadowplay, might I ask a question? How "tight" was Amber Benson's script? Was it a shot-for-shot or more Marvel style? It reads nicely (and looks good).

And Fell is nice, nice, nice! :)

Probably about mid range tightness? Warren Ellis ( and Fraction, bless 'im ) being tighter, at least thanks to the panel layouts, and the dialogue being frontline and center, but way tighter than say a script from Niles, who was generally relatively loose, apart from the Cal stuff I worked on, being a different animal of course.

Generally speaking I try to be faithful completely to a script...or at least 90% ( Well, within stylistic parameters I grant you. )

That's terribly interesting. Terribly interesting. :)

I'm really, really enjoying this book, Ben.
But then again-- I'd buy anything that you illustrate. ;)
