You'll get more replies on the tv/film board.

I taped it because I was watching Smackdown so I'll watch it later today.I started watching Impact a couple weeks ago.TNA isn't bad but it has a long way to go before it reaches the WWE's level.Maybe in a year or two but not right now.

Got around to watching it last night. I enjoyed the show from top to bottom, even the crummy ending

Probably won't be rerun, because apparently the rating wasn't up to snuff:

The rating for TNA's prime time special came in at a disappointing 0.9. It was the first time TNA had ever been on basic cable between the hours of 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. ET, and anything below 1.0 would be considered below expectations.

There was hope of a rating approaching 1.5. Basically, the viewership was on the high end of what they've drawn for their Saturday night weekly show.

Shame. I enjoyed it, even the Jarrett/Rhino match (although I have to wonder whose idea it was for Jarrett to do a bear hug on Rhino -- that's even less credible than the Canadian Destroyer).

According to my TiVo, the special is going to be re-run on 11/8 from 1:00AM ~ 3:00AM.

As someone who has never been a WWF/WWE fan (I grew up in Atlanta and always considered the NWA/WCW to be the "home team"), I've been quite pleased with TNA so far.

The 6-Man X-Division match was the best thing that I've seen on TV this year (I don't order PPVs). I also don't get the chance to catch much indy stuff either, but I'm starting to become a gigantic Samoa Joe mark!

Those that say they enjoyed the show have you discussed it with anyone off line and if so have you joined the TNA forums?

From watching the title match, I will give Jeff Jarrett this much:

Unlike a certain "Nature Boy" who should KNOW better, Jarrett remembers that the psychology of the figure four is that the straight leg is the hurt leg.

It doesn't appear Spike is rattled with that 0.9 Rating. Thier already lined up 2 more TNA Specials this year. So you can see an attempt to grow something with this.

I thought the 6 Man Tag match was pretty awesome as Styles/Joe had thier 1st clash. I also enjoyed the Jarrett/Rhino match a lot. TNA hasn't really had a 2 hour show in 2 years so they had a few kinks to work thru but overall....good. Made me hunger for the days when Nitro was on against RAW.

I will say this, I wasn't bored by any of the special. I can't say the same thing when I watch WWF. I love how TNA makes me feel like I'm watching a sporting event and not Sports Entertainment. It's cool to see the same folks in the crowd each week.

Ahem, this WASN'T AJ and Joe's first match in TNA. They had a great one at Sacrifice, and the 3 way at Unbreakable...

tna returned to the roots. like spike says, it's less talk and more actions. all the matches were exciting and i had a true sense of anything could happen. i didnt expect monty brown to give that poor white three pounces. and the 6 man tag was the match of the week. vince should be watching that match and taking notes. but the main difference i see in tna than with wwe: the fans cheer for anyone. look at petey williams. he suppose to be the heel but the fans cheered for him to do the canadian destroyer. hell, i wanted him to do it. the fans cheer for the most talented wrestle, not cause they are suppose to be heels.

The two hour show was great and as Super said once they work out the kinks this could be a awsome weekly show. But I think it would be smarter to run the shows on tuesday nights and let the UFC fight the monday wars.
