on taboo tuesday, flair got his wish as he faced the game in the cage. the match was just brutal. both were bleeding buckets of blood but flair won with three chair shots to the head. so what did you think?

Since HHH did the right thing by jobbing to Flair Im never gonna say anything bad about him again.

That's called prolonging the feud. If Hunter squashes Flair , it would look bad , not only for Hunter but for Flair.

can't say i cared much about this match or fued. i'm sure hhh has no problem jobbing to somebody who poses no threat what so ever of getting a mainevent spot in the future

Make no mistake about it, HHH is going over. He did the job and that's great to see for Flair as he deserves it for sucking up to HHH for 3 years straight. But where does this all lead? It's simple. HHH will cost Flair the IC title when they set up some kind of match with the NO HEAT, NON REACTION joke known as Chris Masters and HHH will win the next match in dominant fashion.

I didn't think it was the bloodiest ever, Flair had some really bad ones in his WCW days.

HHH got a pretty big pop and (a "Triple H" chant) as he was leaving the ring. It was totally deserved, I think that no one expected Flair to win that one, especially since all the faces were winning.

How old is Flair? He was wrestling Dusty Rhodes at least 20 years ago. Gotta be mid 40's at least. I guess the 20 year tan doesn't help the skin any either.

It makes me wonder if maybe HHH isn't as big an egomanical bastard as so many of you keep insisting he is.

What HHH is doing for his friends this year doesn't erase how he sabatoged the pushes of Booker T, Kane, and RVD. Or the NUMEROUS times he went onscreen during his World Title reign in 2003 berating and downplaying all the Smackdown champions(Kurt Angle, Brock Lesnar) that year. He's put himself over on so many occasions that it's hard to remember specific, self promoting promos these days. It's really pitiful how this guy is pushed so much yet has barely ever given back since those pushes. HHH is STILL the worst thing on Monday Night Raw but he's just losing more at the time. He will eventually go over Cena, Michaels, Flair, and Angle in the end. He always does.

I've been asking myself that same question about HBK.

What kinda rating would the match garner on the Muta scale?

I've been asking myself that same question about HBK.

HBK has been fine the past few years. From what I've read in past articles, even he admits he wasn't the easiest person to work with until he converted religions or something like that. The problem being that he burned so many bridges when he was an egomaniac that not everyone has been that forgiving of him.

HHH working with his childhood idol in Flair isn't nearly as selfless an act as it may appear to be. He's always been generous to work with his friends, especially Michaels and Flair, in ways he wouldn't necessarily work with other folks. But, look, HHH put over Benoit and Batista to the best of his abilities several times when they were champions. In those big programs he's done what was best for the new champion clearly. Still, would he be doing the same program with Carlito? Hard to say.

Michaels made a lot of stink during the Hogan program because he wanted his win back and has made a couple off-the-script, biting comments about Hogan on Raw after the match. There was a feeling that the 'old Shawn' was rearing his ugly head again during all that and people were questioning to what extent the leopard had changed his spots. Some have even said that his overselling during that match hurt the match as it made it all seem cartoony and fake. (I don't personally agree with that assessment as most of his spots were old Terry Funk spots but the feeling is still out there.)

I haven't seen it for a while, but how would the Michaels overselling compare to Flair's when Hogan first went to WCW?
