I watched parts of it. I've always liked this movie. I have the DVD, so I only turned it on between commericals of the football game. Although I had to watch the awesome battle he has with the army.

I thought it was the opposite actually, where it played much better in the theaters than on DVD. Which was the exact opposite of DareDevil, where it was a much better movie on the small screen than in the theaters.

For me, the Hulk plays better on the not-so-silver screen. It's got a campy feel that doesn't belong in theatres.

Absolutely agree. It's a much better DVD/TV movie.

How did the CGI look? A lot of times, I notice that even when some CGI looks great in the theatres, it looks like crap on tv.

I had just the opposite reaction to the Hulk (and Spider-Man). I thought some of the CGI (esp. the CGI versions of the heroes in action) looked carttonishly fake blown up on the big screen, but were much less obviously fake on DVD/TV.

I caught this on USA as well and thought it was a pretty decent film.
I can't say I'll be adding it to my superhero film collection or anything.
The CG Hulk was slightly too noticeble for my taste but at least it wasn't as stiff as Daredevil's. Mostly smooth for most of the time too.
Edith Banner is quite cute though. mmmmm
So was Bruce's father supposed to be Absorbing Man or ZZZax? Both? Neither? Or just some imitation of both?
I also managed to catch Daredevil on FX the following week. I'm probably in the minority when I say this, but I enjoyed Daredevil more than Hulk.

Wow, I hope not. Because I watched second half of The Hulk on Starz! and it was terrible.

The only real problem with the Hulk, was that it needed one more cataclysmic battle. They had the set up, with Josh Lucas being exposed to the nano-gas. He should've become either the Abomination, or the Leader, and duked it out with the Green Goliath!

Absorbing Man. The Zzax thing was more of an easter egg. It makes sense he'd transform into that type of form since he would be pure electricity.
David Banner was a merge between Absorbing Man and the Leader, IMO. He was even a janitor!

I saw that, too. FX showed the director's cut. :)
I finally saw Hulk on tv and I loved it.
Although they altered the Hulk origin I thought they did a great job. It was logical and had a "what if Hulk was in the real world and created today" feel to it.
Anyone notice David Banner experimenting on an iguana in the beginning? Reminded me immediately of Curt Conners. :)

So is there a reason why they're showing it for three hours tonight (8-11 pm)?
I clearly remember the first time I saw it, it was from 7:30-10 pm leading into an episode of Nip/Tuck.
How many more minutes did the Director's cut add to the film anways?
Hopefully, those extra 30 minutes isn't commercials, cause that's too many.

The character of David was a mix of Samuel Sterns (The leader) & Crusher Creed (Absorbing Man) who were in earlier drafts of the film, as well as the comic character Brian Banner. The Leader influence is primarily the whole Janitor thing.
She-Hulk was also in the earlier drafts of the film as well, although quite different from her comics incarnation.
