heard of him a few times. Just wondering about him and what he can do. Also what his feats are.

He was seemingly killed when he exploded in Avengers vol.3 #34. However he appeared alive and well during the breakout in New Avengers #2. Presumably his power level is still the same as it was--but we won't know for certain until he appears again to demonstrate his powers. As for what he's doing now, we won't know until we see him again. He was last seen flying away from the Raft.

I mean, under Nefariaīs powers in that issue it said "power sciphoning" or something like that. Thatīs not what he does. He has Supermanīs powers.

That's what I love, when people don't know what they're talking about, and blame it on other people.

Busiek turned him into an ionic vampire when he brought him back to life.

He didn't have tk, he just blasted Spidey into the mob with an energy blast (if that's what you're talking about).

I'll admit I though his powers seemed different in break out too. Him levitating Spidey seemed different. Unless he showed up elsewhere and developed new powers, I do think Bendis gave him a few new ones without explanation.

Or maybe he has a history of levitating stuff that I'm not aware of, I don't know. Has he ever done it before?

No, he has not been shown to levitate people before. Of course, that may not have been an error on Bendis' part--it may have been an art error on Finch's part.

As for the description of Nefaria's abilities, while its true that he does siphon power these days, that is really a misleading description. His energy siphoning is limited to ionic beings only, and it is not his primary power. His primary power(s) are his extreme strength, invulnerability, energy blasts, flight and speed. A description of Count Nefaria's powers and abilities should be focused on those abilities, to best represent the character accurately. To describe him simply as a power siphon neglects his primary power, and implies that he can absorb power from anyone or anything.

In the Marvel Handbook that came out around the time of that issue of Avengers, it mentioned how Neferia's powers had changed since his reserection. (Makes sense, since it happened to other ionic users.)
And that he was now capable of shaping ionic eneregy into constructs and such.

! Ionic energy into construct ? That's calling pulling powers out of his ass. Suddenly he's now green lantern & superman combined ?

Well, we do know that Wonderman in his own series did get a few ionic power upgrades (though Busiek basically took them all away aside from flight). So I guess its not unheard of for an ionic powered being to develop new powers. I guess I wish there was just a bit more explanation. Though so much was going on with so many people, obviously breakout was not the place to do it. But confusion is very understandable.

Not really,if you know the history of Ionic charactors. Ionic energy is prone to change and mutating. It's almost like a self evolving power.
