Beautiful! Professional quality stuff. I love your design for Standish. I always have trouble with hats like that (Can't make them appear to sit on their head!) but you've done a fantastic job.

My only suggestions would be geared towards storytelling more than the quality of the art. Most of your stuff is very well laid out and gorgeously rendered. However, I'm really not happy with your very last panel. The fact that you needed to point to that portal with the caption seems a little lazy to me. If you wanted to show us the hazy figure behind the portal, I think you should have given us a close up on it, rather than be pulled back from the boat and point at it. Also, that first view of the doctor, the way it's tipped on it's side, kind of drew me out of the story. I found myself paying more attention to the fact that the panel was tipped rather than what was going on. I think it would have been more effective to have gotten a view over the shoulder of the big soldier pulling his cart (I had to look back in the story to try and figure out where the doctor was in relation to the soldiers.)

But overall, fantastic work! You will go far! Keep it up!

Yeah, the whole porthole fiasco. That was SUPPOSED to be in the script but the writer forgot! He only caught that he didn't add right before the preproduction and printing. I didn't have time to do a full redraw of the panel so the "shadowy figure" was drawn in by my editor last minute. Kind of sucked, but that kind of stuff happens i guess. I agree with the panel in the second page of the good doctor, it is wonky. Thanks for your feedback. I am working on issue one right now and it will be full ink and color when we go monthly in january. I'll post some of the new stuff when we get it ready.
