I just booked a flight as my dad. Never asked me for anything beyond the most basic data.

This could be habit forming...

Don't you still have to show your ID when you board?

Identity theft is easy.

I could easily pretend to be JeffreyWKramer by making "BlairH is a virgin" jokes in most of my posts.

"I'm booking a flight for my daughter-in-law...oh no, I'll be paying with my son's credit card. They insist on that much."

Tadhg was right. I needed my dad's.

Which I got, using the excuse that my wife had the mastercard - let me call her and get it.

Thanks dad!

I take at least 2 ID theft reports a week at my job. IT is very serious now.

I have this friend whose roomate likes to screw around with the University network. Last time I "buzzed" the intercom to visit them I said:

"Hello there. It's Mike from the IT dep't. I was wondering if I could speak to Hamish regarding the network"

You could literally hear bricks being excreted!

Yes, I am evil.

My sister and her husband played a little identity theft & credit fraud with my name a few years ago. It took almost a year to resolve. I had to move back in with my parents, put my life and plans on hold.

I don't talk to them any more.
