Is anyone else amped on the new brian wood project? I think it has the potential to be his best work yet. For some reason i'm really excited about this since it deals with different cities, etc. It feels like im getting ready to go on my own mini US vacation.

Got the first two issues from Local and fall in love with that title. To me Local is even better than Brian Wood's last smash hit Demo.

I hope more readers give the maxi series (12 issues) a try. I believe you won't regret it!

each issue gets better and better. this issue about richmond really made me stop and think about moving away from where i grew up, and the ramifications. i almost want to send wood a picture of the outside of my dumpy small town apartment for the letters page. this book makes me glad i am into comics

I've enjoyed his work since Channel Zero. I did enjoy Demo very much, Local is more along the same lines for me. This last issue rocked though, I liked how it was divided up into smaller stories that each flowed from one into the other. Very sweet.
