That really brought out the best in everyone, didn't it?
It really did.
You know, the things I find the funniest, in retrospect, are all the SUPER! ANGSTY! DRAMA-FILLED! THREADS! I was rereading some the other day and, man, I hadn't laughed that hard in a while.
True story: A poster who shall remain nameless actually asked me to call Brian and get him to intervene in the resulting drama. (Not one of the sides in the drama, just someone who wanted a level head to step in before it went nuclear.)
I received a record number of PMs during that particular situation.
It was certainly interesting.
My favourite part of the whole debacle was the suggestion that people from CBR not be allowed to talk about other people from CBR in real life, unless the people in question were physically present to defend themselves.
