Who would like tho see a Shi'ar Imperial Guard permanent series? What would you like it to be like?I'd like to see silver age qua;ity artwork, and every SIG member ever created in it,especially Scintilla/Midget,Oracle,Moondancer,Magic?Magique,and Nightside>I'd also like so see at least one humanoid each with Negroid features and Asiatc features instead of all caucasiod features for the humanoid members

I've long been a proponent of a political-thriller series featuring the Guard. Possibly with Flasfire and Oracle, having left the Guard, spearheading an effort against the corruption of the Shi'ar empire, with Gladiator caught in the middle.

I love just about all of them, especially some of the ones that only appear once or twice (Commando, Glom, Zenith and Plutonia)

I liked Commando in the mini-series, but I can see why he never caught on. He's redundant power-wise, and the political aspects of his character are now out of date (as far as I'm aware).
But, yeah, we definitely need more Glom. Of all the latter-day additions to the team, Gruenwald's contributions were generally the best.

Oracle died in the recent Thanos series after linking minds with the Beyonder's new form.

I knew I should have read that. :(
Was her husband there? If not that would make Flashfire an even more volatile character.

Nope, it was shown in a flashback with Gaurdian siting on a park bench with her.

I have always loved the imperial guard.
Maybe they will be part of Annihilation.....
i had always thought a good plot would be that Hussar and Manta being sent after an alien assasin..who ends up on earth..
they join...u guessed it..the Xmen!!

They've been there, done that. It's called "The Legion of Super-Heroes"

That Hussar&Manta joining the X-Men would be an excellent story for this series designed to appeal to LSH readers and compete with LSH while theyre at it.

Hussar and Manta are some of the few Guard members who aren't based on LSH characters. And if you're going to have a Guard series, why take two minor characters and have them join the X-Men? Then it's just an X-Men title plus two random characters.

I,for one, think of the idea more as guest appearance in an X-men issue rather than a permanent membership.Thier permanent membership and series presence would be the SIG.
