Well...
We are now in Part 2 of The Other, and the questions start popping.
The first question is: What the hell is Morlun doing?
Is his ultimate strategy "I will DESTROY Spider-Man by stalking his wife, oh! And I shall assist her in finding a taxi in New-York!! Mwahahahaha!!"
Second Question:What was on the damned paper!!! Curse you Peter David!!!
My biggest gripe with the issue was the art. It was horrible. And we have to endure 3 more issue's of Pat Lee's horrendous art... gah!!!!!
I would have rather read this issue in script form... the art was one of the worst I've ever seen....

Well, that still makes more sense than half of Green Goblin's master plans.

I really enjoyed the story, makes me actually want to read all twelve issues.
the art however less than spectacular (no pun intended). After the amazing job that Ringo did on the art in FNSM, Pat Lee really just let me down, I guess the art would have been better if there were giant robots instead of people, but I digress, I probably couldn't have done a better job on the art, but then again I'm not a professional.
Can't wait for Amazing next week>

I liked the issue. This issue makes me wonder what Morlun has planned. FNSP he stalked Peter and now he moved on to Mary Jane. I hope that JMS part of the story can give us some info on what Morlun is planning. I'm curious as to what was on the letter. Will Peter turn into Man-Spider again? Does he have a uncureable virus? Damn you Peter David! Also, bring back Ringo for pencils. Pat Lee was just horrible.

Yes, Pat Lee draws pretty robots.
And ugly people.
And really, really ugly people.

That post was about the previews released for MKSM and some other books as well.
This, is strictly issue discussion.

Which you'll find has already been done.
Personally, I liked the art in this issue better than the Billy Tan art in the last MK arc. It's still not the greatest, but it was a marked improvement.

So, do we know yet what the bad news was Peter got at the end of Friendly Neighborhood #1? Seein as I have no interest in Pat Lee's art, I stayed away from this one...

No, PAD's still beating around the bush...which is okay, I suppose.
Personally, I think it would be a ballsy move to give Peter cancer, as opposed to some obscure and/or made-up malady. Making Marvel's #1 icon a cancer survivor would be cool on many levels, IMO.

I really liked the second part of The Other but I have to agree with everyone else on the artwork. It was pretty substandard.Hopefully his art for the next issue will be better but I won't hold my breath.

I was kind of bored through out the issue and just waiting for it to be over. I think that it was largely due to the artwork, but overall I wasn't too thrilled with this issue.

I thought thw story was very well-played. Telling Spider-Man's adventures through what MJ saw on the tube was unique and pretty cool.
MJ-stalkers are always fun. (It's funny how level-headed MJ was about the whole thing...life with Spider-Man makes the trials of stage-actors dull in comparison, heh heh).
But...Morlun's intentions, Peter's illness, and the why they picked Pat Lee to draw a Spider-Man book are all annoying mysteries, while running simultaneously.

Could the bad news have something to do with Tracer's bullet?

I shouldn't think so. Peter was having some health problems and wierd spazams before The Other started.

the stort is really keeping me on ym toes. I also hated the artwork I thought it some of the worst i have ever seen.
So spidey is somewhat losing his powers is what i got from this issue. Maybe Spidey has contracted cancer or somehting. I have no idae where this story is heading but I really like the ride
