... and no, it has nothing to do with Sgt. Pepper.

On October 19, 1985, at 2:30 in the afternoon (a half-hour late, in typical MacQ fashion), by lovely bride became my lovely bride. Happy anniversary to Terri, the best part of whatever I am.

Also on this date, ten years later, at roughly the same time of day, my youngest daughter, Katie Rose, was born. Happy birthday, Katie!

Whenever I swear never get married, I hear a story like this. Twenty years of sharing your triumphs and tragedies with a special, someone is a tremendous gift and I am glad you have had it.

Sorry for not acknowledging this before now. Catalog season is upon us, and I won't be around much between now and mid-January.

Thanks much to all of you for your good wishes and kind thoughts. It was a nice week. Hectic, but nice.
