View Full Version : Quite Time
How many of you spend some time each day either praying, reading a holy/spiritual book or meditating? If you do what is the nature of your "quite time?"
I'm interested in this because I have begun spending quite time each day myself. I'm reading a Pslam and a Proverb from the Bible each day. Since there are 31 Proverbs and around 150 Psalms I'll end up reading all of Proverbs every month and all of Pslams every 5 months. As I get myself into the habit I will add something from the New Testament to my daily reading. I will probably start with Romans or one of the Gospels.
I'm guessing you mean "quiet" time? if so, out in the hot tub.

If not, my answer is "no," I'm afraid.

Reading my comics is my quiet time. One of the most relaxing things I do.

I don't do anything remotely like this unless gazing rapturously at my comic collection counts.

I meditate for around a half-hour every few days, but for me, meditation is not a spiritual activity.

OT: I, too, enjoy just looking at my collection - usually when I'm deciding what to read. Having so many colorful, entertaining, and different options makes me slightly giddy sometimes and ridiculously giddy at other times...
Thanks to you, I'm entering the giddy zone, as I type.

A girlfriend once said something very similar about me.
