Goes back to the old days of the CrossGen Message Boards. Back when they were a viable comic book company. A poster over there got pregnant and she called it, "Getting Sigilized" - like in how the main characters all got sigils.

Oh.... See, I only had like 100 posts on the CGMB. But it was cool meeting some of the people from there, a few years ago.
