WS Universe Reboot?

I remember reading a rumor that the entire WS Uni was going to reboot at some point in the near future, has this been confirmed or denied? I know there is a new WildCATS book coming out, and that there is something major happening with Captain Atom, but could someone fill me in on the specifics? Thanks.

I haven't heard anything about this. This could be good, but it could also go horribly bad. WS is pretty tight and doesn't need a Crisis of Infinite Bleed Realities nor does it need a House of W...or would that be House of Lee? :)
Seriously though WS is my favorite shared world, let's not much it up.

What I've heard isn't as much a Reboot as it's a Relapse.

i'm guessing the authority exist in the same reality that stormwatch/youngblood/wildc.a.t.s do...are they still in charge of the US? how will that effect the morrison/lee run on wildc.a.t.s coming up?

I doubt it'll be a traditional reboot. More like a refocus on their main properties like WildCATS, Authority, etc.

Authority abdicated the U.S. goverment as of the fall of 2004, WSU time, following the disaster in Washington.

Authority came into existance years after the original Image Universe (which included WildC.A.T.s, Stormwatch and Youngblood) separated into six distinct universes. All the properties owned by Jim Lee wound up in Dimension Lee, a.k.a Wildstorm Universe. Authority was a spin-off/sequal to Stormwatch

Granted, there leaves some continuity questions (like who the heck did WildC.A.T.s fight in Issue 4 of the original series?), but ultimately, the simple answer is that Youngblood doesn't exist in the universe Authority currently occupies.
