I thought the story was a good read, but I will be honest...I felt the art to be a bit off-putting at times. The characters failed to look consistent from panel to panel at times, and I found myself getting lost due to that....I was unsure who I was looking at.
The mood was good....just would've liked a bit more consistency.
Just my opinion.... ;)

I picked it up last week. It's easy to miss, because it is digest size. And (here comes the heresey) the cover isn't great (IMO) and doesn't help it stand out--the overall greyness, which is appropriate, I think contributes to it getting buried or lost on the shelf.

I did enjoy ther interior art myself. Thought the story had a good mood.

Really hope that it wasn't actually leprosy the people had, because it wasn't portrayed appropriately.

I'll be honest, the size was very off putting for me (about half the size of a normal comic, roughly). I know that sounds extremely silly, but it certainly killed the wonderful BWS: Storyteller series way before it's time (size and format I mean). Some say size doesn't matter, but I think in this case it does. I mean, if it makes the difference for me between picking up something I was actually kind of looking forward to or not, then it's important.

There was an AvP graphic novel a few months ago that was like this and I didn't like the size either. The story sucked too but the size was weird. I don't like it.

I liked the art, but I agree that it was a little hard to follow what was happening at times. I guess I wasn't sure if it was just me, the writing, or the fact that I've never seen the movie...

I dig the cover, though.

I like the cover a lot...it could use a little bit more color...like some green or something. It's weird but not eerie enough.
