Self-Explanatory.
"The Way Young Lovers Do" for me.

"Jackie Wilson Said (I'm in Heaven When You Smile)." No contest.
Runners-up: "Domino" and "Wild Night."
So, yeah, I groove to his soul stuff.

Even though she left me, I'm still in love with my "Spanish Rose."

Tupulo Honey.
Honorable mention: he did a very cool jazzy cover of "Being Green" from Sesame Street that I enjoy.
But let's face it, all of his stuff's good. Am I right?

Did I say "Into the Mystic"? I meant "Caravan".
I think.
"Brown Eyed Girl."
That's it.

I am in the Jackie Wilson Said.. camp as well. I never really listened to calssic rock when I was younger and someone gave me a tape with this song and just a whole bunch of really classic great songs, that to this day I wish I still had.
I like the early stuff too, but a lot of my favourite songs come from the 1978 -1983 period in which he put out a string of five amazing albums: Wavelength, Into the Music, Common One, Beautiful Vision, and Inarticulate Speech of the Heart. Some of the ones that stand out for me are:
Natalia
Santa Fe
Troubadors
Angeliou
Haunts of Ancient Peace
Satisfied
Wild Honey
Dweller on the Threshold
...
The Inarticulate Speech album, like the very different Astral Weeks, works more for me as an complete unit rather than as a collection of songs; I couldn't really isolate any of the individual tracks.
