I'm leaving tomorrow morning for the International Comic Art Festival (http://go.to/icaf). I will be hanging out with my friends/authority figures Jon B. Cooke and Ana Merino, and listening to a series of lectures that will hopefully be interesting. If I take any notes, I'll try to post them here.

I will not be back until late Sunday night, so until then, please behave as well as you do when I'm around. I expect that there will be no flamewars and no "Name That Vince Colletta Inking Job" games. :)

See you on Sunday, or Monday at the latest. Enjoy the weekend.

I'm back. It was an expensive trip, but I had a great time. There were numerous interesting papers and lectures, including a chat with the great Jerry Robinson, and I spent a lot of time hanging out with various comics scholars. I took copious notes, so I'll try to post a more detailed report if I find the time.
