View Full Version : Should there be an Ultimate Adam Warlock?

The Ultimate universe isn't yet populated with many cosmic characters. Would you like to see an Adam Warlock introduced into the Ultimate universe?

Any ideas on how you think an Ultimate Warlock should be approached?

I voted no. But I guess if used sparingly itd be ok. As long as he first appears in UFF of course :)

I definately think he deserves a shot... Im pretty sure all the major MU characters will be ultimitized soon enough. And especially with Ultimate Gahlaktus and SS etc, Im sure Warlock will surface.

The Pak/Adlard WARLOCK series was pretty darn close to an ultimization. It bombed really, really, really hard.

A "Him" storyline in UFF? Fine. But that's it.

I don't think the Ultimate verse is ready for more cosmic heroes yet I say wait till the Gah Lak Tus trilogy is over.

I think he could work, but not as a cosmic character. Keep it more down to earth with the modern messiah thing, like the mini-series. I'd like to see him introduced in Ultimate Fantastic Four with a similar origin to his original.

If a writer thinks he can do something with the name, sure. Keep in mind, just because the character is Ultimate Adam Warlock doesn't mean he's cosmic, or a bizarre Jesus analogy, or whatever. Hell, they could have thrown him in with the Defenders if they wanted.

I voted no. I think the cosmic nature of characters should be avoided, at least for now. If, down the road, a wel done story could be done with all the cosmic characters, it should be left in UFF.

You are aware that when an ultimate version of a Marvel character pops up in the ultimate universe, nothing happens to the Marvel version, right?

yes but I think an Ultimate line will butcher his character. I hate the idea of what they are making Galactus, or at least what I know of it, its lame

lol no I read the previews and looked at the scetches, Gah Lak Tus or whatever it is looks LAME, i love the big G in 616 should still be a giant guym not insect type things

So an alien creature that was born in another universe and appears to be whatever the viewer believes it to be, and has the power to feed off of all the life in a given planet, leaving it barren... should look like a giant human. That's what you're saying?

Just stick to the 616 titles then if you like it that way so much.

In the Ultimate universe anything is game.
