Should somebody beat Ultimate Nick Fury senseless? After issue 8, he needs a curbstomping done to him by either Thor, Cap, Red Skull, or Ultron.

Anyone of you read a little thing called an Annual? It was preceded by the word Ultimates. Check it out, the you will know the right answer to this question.

Well, Spidey already did it as Stonegold noted. I voted for Red Skull though. I'm interested in seeing the ultimized version of him. It'd be fantastic.

In the original Ultimates run, he admitted that he voted for Ralf Nader, so yes, somebody should at least slap him :)

If I had my way, under my dictatorship, I would fire myself from the job and appoint my wife as world leader and then I'd curbstomp pretty much all the politicians on the planet, including Nader, just for the fun of it. I'd also have Noam Chomsky as my lovely wife's political advisor and Wesley Dodds along with Mike Smash would be somewhere in the administration also. Howydoin would be in charge of Marijuana growth and distribution and everything would be awesome.

Not being a fan of the Ultimates unless they're cameos in other Ultimate titles, I choose Red Skull because from what I know of him he's pretty cool and it would be nice to see a modern version in the Ultimate Universe.

I voted for Thor, as he's in the category with Cap as a "framed and hunted down like a dog" teammate.

I'll go with Thor being the real deal screwed over, especially with Loki popping up in the background of the first few issues. Cap was dogpiled and beaten on, but Thor was set on fire, kicked in the head, shot in the face, had his mind scrambled, insulted, blasted by Iron Man and given a rant about welfare.

I'd be happiest if they BOTH gave Fury a bit of a smacking around, myself.

I've hated Ultimate Nick Fury for years now. He's one of my least favorite comic book characters.

Re: The Ultron choice for the poll, Hank got what was coming to him. He could have killed Jan, and all the apologies in the world aren't going to bring her back. Really, someone should kick Hank's ass again, just on GP.

The only Nick Fury I like better than the Ultimate version is MAX Fury from his recent Punisher appearance. Ultimate Nick is either the traitor or just a patriot doing the most difficult job on Ultimate Earth.

I thought that Fury would be the traitor in Ultimates, but after the annual and Ultimates #8, I'm not leaning in that direction any more. To be honest, I didn't even think about the Skrulls until someone on these boards brought it up.

Just read the issue...I actually began to like Ultimate Cap a lot more.

But I was laughing through most of the second half, thinking, "OMG, Ultimate Nick Fury hates America!!!11" :p

Amen. How can anyone feel for that wife-beating bastard? That asskicking was my favorite part of Ultimates 1.

I really, really think he has it coming to him. But at the same time, that's exactly what I love about his character. He's such an asshole. Billions of times cooler than the original Nick Fury. He just kinda sucked in comparison.
