Heat vision, flight, super-freeze breath--oh, wait...that's Superman.

He's just really strong and really hard to kill, has in depth knowledge of the paranormal and the occult, and his big stone hand is the key to ending the world. So he's doing his best to keep it.

I think his 'power' is to have a 10 year creator-owned run, with a major motion picture, loyal fanbase, multiple novels and short story prose, and to stand out as a non-superpowered hero retelling a mythological/folklore story genre in a sea of lookalike books with xeroxed characters drawn by artists who only mimic the flavor of the month.....in short...Hellboy's power is 'quality'

I dont think Hellboy can die. Thats a power. If it truly is his destiny to bring the apocolyps, and his right hand doesnt work if its lopped off of him while he's dead, then destiny steps in and wont let him die. Although it can be cut off while he's alive, then he could die after that.

Hellboy doesn't have any definable "powers" because he is not a superhero in that traditional sense. Keep reading Nightwing if you want that.
